There's a chance I may be able to make it on the 18th. Essentially, my future is more or less up in the air right now, with a job search that's not going terribly well, and a visa that's running out by September . I'll keep you posted as soon as I know anything more...

At the moment, there are too many important things that may fall into my lap for me to be able to reliably plan a month and a half ahead of time. Sometime closer to the actual event I might have a better idea. If the games aren't all full up before I have a clue, then perhaps I can come. Time wil tell.

That's the case for me as well, Kahuna Burger. Normally I'd be all over it, but as I'm buying a house at the beginning of July and I already have gaming plans the following weekend (the 10th), so booking two in a row is probably too much.

Tell me, would this be a good event to bring a girlfriend too if she's been wanting to play, but doesn't have alot of experience? She likes cats, pugs, expectant mothers and bbq (we all like bbq).

Hmmm, I'm interested, but I'll have to check my schedule with the boss. I'm not sure if that is before or after her summer class ends - if it is before, I doubt she'll be happy with me leaving her with the kids for the day while she's studying for an exam or writing a final paper...

And I would only be interested in playing a D&D game - haven't played any other systems in the 13 years since college ( ) so I'm not really up on anything else, and I'm not yet confident enough in my own DMing to try running a one shot for a bunch of people I've never met in person.
