[MM2e] Salton City Needs Heroes! Episode 1: Premiere

Sven had just put the mayor down when he grabs him back to his arms and starts running back to the café.

Enemi in ther! He yels and waves towards the city hall.

[sblock=OOC]Well, as much as Sven can figure, the café is the safest place right now, even if Foxy is a bit on the edge...[/sblock]

City Hall
"Yü nø pølis!" Sven grabs the mayor and run out City Hall.

"Your hurting me!!"

Sven had just put the mayor down when he grabs him back to his arms and starts running back to the café.

All three "officers" glance towards Anya with a blank look on their face. "GET THEM YOU IMBECILES!!"

OCC: Mr. Tv can do something before the "officers" leave, and which will happen in the next "City Hall update."

Heritage Plaza
The Viking yells out. "Enemi in ther!"



Heritage Plaza, Cafe
Emily cautiously entered into the cafe. "Ten Foot Pole, you did good. However, Rapid Fox, I'm worried about how you handled the situation. I don't think it would be a wise decision for My Tea Productions to keep you on the show."

"What?"

"Like it or not, you killed a man. Sure he may have been a villain, but still you killed him, and we can not have that happen on a regular basis since My Tea production can be held liable in court. Also, I don't think Richard would be to thrilled if every other crime your group stops ends up being unairable of network television."

"But it wasn't my fault!"

"I'm sorry.." Emily frowned. "Anyways, since you are under contract with My Tea productions, you don't have to worry since Richard can easily give you compensation or place you in another of our productions. The choice is yours." Emily gave Rabid Fox a card. "Contact Richard as soon as you're ready."

Rapid Fox sighed. "Alright.."

"Hmm sublty not your strong point big guy? Don't worry I've got your back Sven"

Mr TV looks at the reacting officers in front of him

"say have we met before? your face seems kinda familiar" Mr TV says with a grin

Did he just say the enemy was in there?

Keiko glanced over to see Sven, holding the mayor, pelting pell-mell for the cafe.

Shimata!

"Excuse me, officers...looks like this isn't over yet after all!"

Telekinetic energy surged into her legs and hips, and her doppelganger faded away as she dashed towards the City Hall to see what had gotten Sven so upset.

(Shifting TK pool from strength to speed as free action, moving to City Hall, letting Illusion drop, but staying invisible for the moment. I also still have the rifle. )

The Ten-Foot Pole nods vaguely to Emily, as his attention is fixated on something else. He leans down to get a better look at the head of Michelle's victim.

"Clones. . ."

He spins around quickly, cracking his head on the ceiling of the cafe as he moves.

"They're all clones!"

Heritage Plaza, Cafe
The Ten Foot Pole glanced down at the Gunman's head."Clones. . . They're all clones!"

Heritage Plaza
Sven continues his charge towards the Cafe, and almost tramples two of the officers who were heading towards City Hall.

"Excuse me, officers...looks like this isn't over yet after all!" Kitsune sprung forward and rushed toward the City Hall.

City Hall
"Hmm subtly not your strong point big guy? Don't worry I've got your back Sven"

Mr TV glanced at the clones. "say have we met before? your face seems kinda familiar"

Anya's eyes widened as she left her position behind the counter. "Number One, Number Two get the mayor, Three distract him!"

The two of the clones hesitated, as one of the clones charged toward the entrance. "Which number am I?"

"Grrr... I don't care!"

"Rock Paper Scissors?"
"Alright... But two out of three."
The clones begin to play Rock, Paper, Scissors.


OOC: No initiative is needed.

 

[Ginnel]

Terrence steps to the side of the onrushing clone and gingerly walks onwards past the rock paper scissors whispering into the ear of one of the clones after a round is concluded.

"you notice he waited and opened his hand after he saw yours? and I thought rock paper scissors was a sacred game"

Terrence then continues to persue this Anya if he is unimpeded

City Hall.

The two clones then argued as Terrence continued his chase. Anya leads Mr. Tv out of City Hall then toward an alley.
Notice: 1d20+6=10 -5 = 5 vs 10

Mr. Tv could hear Anya say something, but unfortunately he was not able to understand what she said beyond: "Sister... .... failed you.. .. should I... ... plan B?"


Meanwhile, Heritage Plaza Cafe
As the viking approached the cafe, he can see that the police were in the process of taking statements from the various witnesses. Outside the cafe, the cashier girl is on her cell phone.

The Ten-Foot Pole extricates himself from the Cafe and looks around outside. Ignoring the civilians for the moment, he spots the newly arrived viking. Speaking as slowly and clearly as possible, he tries to explain the situation.

"Viking! The bad men, they are all the same! Clones! Doubles! It's treachery. . . like Loki! Look for more!"

Heritage Plaza, outside the Cafe.

Mr. Tv and the Viking both hear the cashier girl say, "I am well aware of your failure. The boss will not be pleased. ..... Proceed with plan B. ..... Retreat, regroup, and wait further instructions."

Inside the cafe, Emily and Michelle are giving the police their report.
