[MM2e] Salton City Needs Heroes! Episode 1: Premiere

Kitsune telekinetically grabbed SWAT A's rifle from out of his reach and pointed it at him. "That's enough of that. Put your hands up or you can find out what your partner felt."

SWAT A spat on the ground as he glanced past Kitsune toward the lumbering Viking who was in running toward Kitsune and SWAT A. "Ah #$#&! Fine, I'll surrender, but keep that Hulk Hogan wanna be away from me..." SWAT A got on his knees and placed his hands onto his head.


"Michelle. . . you need to calm down. Just stay where you are, we're coming to you."

Heritage Plaza, Cafe
"Do you know how it's like to seriously hurt, maim or kill people without trying, wanting, or thinking?" She leaned forward against the counter, "I never wanted this!"

One of the 'hostages,' an overweight, balding man who wore glasses and a suit, began to crawl towards the nearest shattered window from a his position next to the restroom door. The man suddently stopped crawling after seemingly cutting his hand on a piece of shattered glass. "Ouch!"

Michael arrives outside the cafe, looking winded. Michelle still looks dangerous, but the first priority must be the civilians. He reaches down to help up the man at his feet.

"Here, sir. We'll get you out of here."

 

[Shayuri]

Satisfied, Kitsune lets herselt turn visible and looks around at Sven.

"It's all right, I've got this one! Go help the others with the Rabid Fox...over in the diner there! "

She points to the diner where Michelle is extending her reign of terror.

 

[Ginnel]

"Thats all right girl" Steve says towards the Rabid Fox making gentle talking sounds to her as he jumps his way carefully through the window

"See what I've got to do is keep my voice nice and calm, don't wanna startle the poor thing" Steve says to camera, as he approaches the Rabid Fox

Steves just gonna approach Rabid Fox really slow talking calmly probably a diplomacy of sumin, but he is treating her like an animal, so maybe something else.

[Blackrat]

Sven is dumbfounded by the sudden lack of anyone to smash and he looks around in despair. Kitsune's words snap him back to reality and with a satisfied grunt he obeys her instructions, running towards the café.

Heritage Plaza, Cafe

The 10 ft. Pole reaches down to help the man to his feat.
"Here, sir. We'll get you out of here."

The man glances up at the 10. Ft. Pole with a look of terror in his eyes. "You're here too?!?! Oh god don't don't hurt me! I won' tell the asylum you escaped!"

Rabid Fox turn toward the man and began to advance on him. "I'm NOT crazy! Who told you I'm crazy?!?"

"Steve Irwin" cautiously approaches Rabid Fox. "Thats all right girl." He turns to the cameraman, "See what I've got to do is keep my voice nice and calm, don't wanna startle the poor thing"
OOC: I would have used diplomacy... however... since he is "treating her like an animal"...
Handle Animal: 1d20+11=19 vs. 30 --> Failed

"Stop treating me like an animal! Everyone always treats me like an animal... I'm not your guinea pig plaything!" Rabid Fox flips over the nearest table before extending her claws. *SNIKT*

Kitsune points Sven towards the the Cafe. "It's all right, I've got this one! Go help the others with the Rabid Fox...over in the diner there! "

The Viking ran toward the cafe.
OOC: Yes it is the same one.

Meanwhile, the sound of the police sirens are becoming deafening as a result of the first responders arriving within the plaza. Down the street, a cop car can be seen weaving around the flipped SWAT truck. It is being followed by a police transport.

 

[Ginnel]

Terrence fights the persona he's taken on and manages to revert to his normal form "Michelle! just calm down, if you want to be treated like a person you're going to have to act like one, now stand down!"

The Ten-Foot Pole looks baffled at the man's response, staring blankly at his own hand for a moment. After it becomes obvious that the man won't be taking it, he akwardly retracts it.

"Sir, I think you're confused. We're not from an asylum. We're heroes, we're here to help."

Casting an anxious glance up to see Michelle advancing on Mr. TV, he steps into the cafe, ducking very low, and moving to place himself between the man and the Fox.

"Sir, I think it would be best if you left."

"Michelle! just calm down, if you want to be treated like a person you're going to have to act like one, now stand down!"

Rabid Fox grits her teeth.. "I'm trying to... they did something to me... made me into a weapon.... I can feel them trying to take control of my body..."

The Ten Foot Pole retracts his hand. "Sir, I think you're confused. We're not from an asylum. We're heroes, we're here to help."

"But that dossier I was sent about your group said you were all escaped super powered lunatics from a place called Bedlam."

"Sir, I think it would be best if you left."

"Oh ok..." The man rushes out of the Cafe.

Heritage Plaza
Emily spots the man as he rushes out of the cafe and and smiles. "Mayor Earhart, I'm glad to see you are well. I think you should stand aside and watch as these heroes diffuse the situation."

"But.. um... Ms. Holiday... There's no need, Captain Superior is going to save us from them..."

 

[Shayuri]

As the police close in, Kitsune grits her teeth behind her mask and superimposes an illusion of herself exactly as she is over herself. She then cloaks herself in invisibility and steps away from the image. You could never be too careful when there were trigger happy cops around.

When they're close enough to start getting out of cars, she has her image call out, "The man on the ground is one of the attackers! I have captured him! Please take him in for questioning!"
