MnM3 Centropolis (Re-bot)

Ricochet is a flat cost, not related to the effect rank. Each rank in ricochet allows you to bounce the power once - i.e. 1 rank = one bounce, two ranks = 2 bounces, etc.

With the Aura, reducing the ranks would lower the save DC, and you could add a limitation on how often it could affect a character...
Or you could make it a Complication and have it only affect people who are out of combat - increasing the danger to bystanders because they're too Entranced to get out of the way...

You are correct about Ricochet, I just re-read it. Sorry :) I don't see it getting used very often and had not read it over for a long time :)

As for the Aura, just making it NOT permanent would go a long way to reducing its affect.

And for Afflictions above I was replying about Shadow's Bolos sorry I should have said that...

Hmm let me see if I can work this out in my head...

"Aurora's Aura" - Affliction 4 [4pp] (Entranced), Area (Burst 30ft) 1 [+1], Range Close [+0], Selective 4 [+4], Increased Duration - Concentration 4 [+4], Sustained 4 [+4], Continuous 4 [+4], Permanent 4 [+4/-4; +0], Limited Degree: Only first degree affect 4 [-8], Insidious 1 (people don't realize why they were staring at her) [+1]; Linked with Environment (Light) 1 [+1], Permanent* [0]
Total: 15pp

*You could add Innate [+1] and then the Permanent [-1] would still be a zero sum

This way you could selectively chose to exclude people from the power but you would have to consciously do that each round as it were. It might be a bit more trouble then it is worth. Dropping the Permanent part might make it easier to manage I am afraid.

Then you could add a Complication that you are always glowing a little bit even when the affect is not up as it were

I've also got a power that I'm uncertain about:

Device Sense and Control (cp: 9):
Senses 7 (Detect: Electrical and Electronic devices, Accurate, Acute, Analytical, Extended, Radius, Range)
Move Object 1 (Precise, Limited: Only to control Electrical/Electronic devices)

The idea is that he can control electrical and electronic devices around him, i.e., turn them on/off, change settings, activate functions, etc.

Yes you still need an attack roll too hit as it is a 'Ranged'. The three Range types are close (Melee/Close Attacks), Range (Ranged Attacks) and Perception (and Area, which don't require an attack roll).

And as Shayuri mentioned below with Afflictions, you need an Attack roll to hit (unless it is Perception or Range) and then the target gets a roll to Resist. How much they fail by is the result.
Okay. I will rejigger my numbers again. Nothing I can do to really make those things better except hope for low rolls, I guess lol

Assuming one sense, Accurate is 2 ranks, but otherwise looks ok. It will only control simple (not gadgets/device powers) equipment and one at a time I think... but could work...

Seems legit. You might want to give the sense the power to penetrate solid objects, or you'd only be able to use this power to manipulate electronic objects you have a line of effect to.

Updated version:

Device Control (cp 18):
Device Sense (cp 11): Senses 11 (Detect: Electrical and Electronic devices (1), Accurate (2), Acute (1), Analytical (1), Penetrates Concealment (4), Radius (1), Range(1))
Device Manipulate (cp 4): Move Object 1 (2)(Perception (+1) Precise (+1), Subtle (+1), Limited: Only to control Electrical/Electronic devices (-1))
Device Overload (cp 3): Damage 1 (1)(Ranged: Perception (+2), Subtle (+1), Limited: Only affects Electrical/Electronic devices (-1))

I am unsure what you are trying to do as we have some cross posts here sorry...

This was for a different power. Totally unrelated. I just wanted to know if a power could be "Full round" after "standard" but M&M doesn't seem to have "full round" as a time. She's an anime Magical Girl so she has to spend (what seems like) a whole minute having the camera pan around her body while she gyrates and announces her attack before it can go off. And while that could be just a standard action, I was curious about how one would model something that takes longer to do.

I'm surprised there isn't a "requires both a standard and move action" time period in the game.
