MP Rogue Feat Question

There is a question I have about a elven rogue feat in MP. It states that if you spend your elven accuracy on a target that grants you CA and you miss with your elven accuracy roll, it is not expended.

Can you just activate it again then ? Does this give an elf rogue an auto-hit encounter power ?

There's two ways to look at this.

One: No. No auto-hits at heroic level. No. Bad.

But that doesn't satisfy the 'technically... blah blah blah' so here is your rules answer.

Elven Accuracy permits a re-roll, and then says you must used the second roll.

Alright.

Now, as you say, you -do- get to not expend your Elven Accuracy. So let's see what happens if you get to keep using it.

Situation 1)

You need to roll 17 to hit, and you have a +6 bonus, so you need to roll an 11 or better.

First roll you roll a 1. So you elven accuracy and roll a 14. Good, you hit, happy days.

1, 14. Take the second roll, 14.

Situation 2)

First roll you roll a 1, then after EA you roll a 10. OH SO CLOSE! So you reroll again and get a 20! Good job!

1, 10, 20. Take the second roll, 10.

Situation 3)

First you roll a 1. Then a 6. Then a 10. Then another 1. Then a 7 again. Finally a 20.

1, 6, 10, 1, 7, 20. Take the second roll, 6.

So, even if it -did- allow multiple re-rolls it wouldn't matter because you -always take the second roll- as per the racial power description.
