need advice on spellcasting character

Hey everybody,

My party started a new adventure yesterday in which i am a player and not a dm for the first time in quite a while. The dm used to be your typical power gamer so i want to make a REALLY broken spellcaster (or manifester) knowing he can't say anything about it and to show him how annoying it can be. I'm mainly interested in blasting but i don't want smth one-dimensional like battle-mage (i want the non-encounter-centered cool stuff too). I'm welcoming any suggestions regarding class, feats, spells, prestige classes etc up to lv20.

Wizard/Psion, at first, since they both benefit from all the same stats.

Then go into Cerebremancer as soon as possible.

Just play a Neutral Whisper Gnome Psion and be sure to pick up all the broken, non-errata'ed powers, like Energy Missile, Dispel Psionics, Psychic Reformation, Schism (needs to spend some feats on Expand Knowledge) and pick up Metamorphosis and Metamorphic Transfer, too.

won't a cerebremancer have trouble with the different feats for each class?

You want to make him really pissed off? Make an untouchable abjurer with a spellfocus and greater spell focus in evocation and take Energy Substitution (Sonic) to top it off.

S&SS's Player's Guide to Wizards, Bards and Sorcerers. Basically it turns your sorcerer into the UBEREST sorcerer alive. And I do mean Uber.

What level are you starting at?

Cerebromancers are pretty week until mid levels.

If you're 10th level or so, try an Elan Cerebromancer with Metamorphic transfer.

Keep Alter Self going as much as possible all day long (get some 2nd level pearls of power if you can) in Choker Form. Improved initiative, lot's of spells/powers to cast and an extra standard action every round to allow you to cast them, plus the Elan's abilities allow you to survive tremendous punishment.
