Any idea when the next update can be expected, and if all the text might be finished?

I don't know, I missed five days due to the computer problem and another finalising some stuff for Mongoose. I also really want to kick on with the art rather than get bogged down with the text details. So I may put that on the back burner for a week or two and mull a few things over as I get the art sorted. I just need a bit of a break from the text.

We're going to be getting close to a year soon, UK. :P
Good luck; I hope you have an easy time getting things in order.

Mayhaps I could commission you do do a set of supersoldier templates for me?

What would the going rate on that be.

A few quick questions on divine abilities

First of all is there any particular reason that there is no divine ability that grants aberration traits?

Secondly divine toughness and omnific toughness both have perfect toughness as a prerequisite. Unfortunatly perfect toughness does not exist.

Is there any particular reason that there is no cosmic ability that grants a construct body?

For transcorpreality what decides which weapon will be able to harm the owner of the ability?

What does oblivion do?

Is there any way to kill someone with Transmortality?

Where is a time lords manifestation? Is it in Muzaloth? Is it possible for a time lord to have it's manifestation within itself? What is Muzaloth? What do time lords look like?

Let me see if I can field any of these...

1) Odd, but there's no reason you can't make one.

2) Perfect Toughness is a reference to "max HP per HD" and should be noted as such.

3) It's a divine ability, "Ersatz", if I understand you correctly.

4) DM's discretion, i.e. 'flavor', i.e. 'role playing'.

5) Oblivion seems (despite being incomplete) to render any action taken by the entity to be irreversible. No damage deal by such a being could be healed, no spell dispelled, no enchantment lifted, no death reversed, etc. Nasty piece of work.

6) Doesn't look like it...

7a - 7e) That's for the man to say. Sorry.

Thanks :) .

I intend to just wondering if there was any reason for it.
2) Perfect Toughness is a reference to "max HP per HD" and should be noted as such.
Thanks.
3) It's a divine ability, "Ersatz", if I understand you correctly.
I worded that question badly. I was meaning that most ability "chains" (I.e. Senses, toughness) had one for each tier of divine abilities wheras the "Body" chain misses out cosmic and has two divine abilities instead.
4) DM's discretion, i.e. 'flavor', i.e. 'role playing'.
Thought it worked that way just wanted to be sure.
5) Oblivion seems (despite being incomplete) to render any action taken by the entity to be irreversible. No damage deal by such a being could be healed, no spell dispelled, no enchantment lifted, no death reversed, etc. Nasty piece of work.
 That is nasty.
6) Doesn't look like it...
Right.

Good questions . . .

I actually read Oblivion as being sufficient to "kill" a being with Transmortality. Arguably the Omega Effect would allow one to do the same.

The double Death portfolio might allow one to slay a Transmortal as well.

Hi Pssthpok mate! :)

Thanks for bringing that constant source of embarrassment up. :o

Suffice to say, I'll never make the same mistake (pre-ordering) again.

Thanks. I think its a matter of mentally seeing the progress at this stage. There are no more pages to add, just minor tweaks and errata. So when I do the art it looks like I'm making more progress.

Hi dante dude! :)

I could never take money from someone like that. Its such a tiny endeavour.

I think if you put your mind to creating some yourself (instead of posting stats for both Sahuagin and Lihuagin*) you could easily achieve it. Maybe myself and some of the others could chime in with some pointers.

*(I still don't understand why you posted both full sets of stats when the only difference appears to be whether they dwell in freshwater or salt water. :\

Anyway, if you try to create one (in the other thread - not this thread) the firts thiung to consider is how powerful you want the template to be...and why?

Hi Axolotl dude! :)

Thanks Pssthpok for answering in my absence.

Fire away! :)

Axolotl said:

I thought they were boring and unworthy of a divine ability.

Axolotl said:

I think its a problem with the nomenclature of certain feats/abilities.

Axolotl said:

Ersatz.

Axolotl said:

The DM, although an immortals opposed portfolios determine the nature of the artifact.

The weapon capable of destroying a Sun God would be something to do with Darkness.

Axolotl said:

Your actions are permanent. Spells are permanent, Damage is permanent damage etc.

Axolotl said:

Not in the traditional sense, but you could always absorb their quintessence dropping them down to a lower status and THEN kill them.

Or steal their Transmortality ability and then kill them.

Or imprison them.

Or absorb them.

Yes it can manifest within itself.

Think of the universe as its body, but the manifestation as its spirit.

Axolotl said:
What is Muzaloth?

The 8th dimension. Think of a negative of the night sky. A white blanket with black stars, only the stars are really universes/time lords.

You'll see in Ascension. :p
