Good, it sounds like you are going to have a group of friends to play with. Oh, and welcome to the boards.

As to your "spell save" question, there are two sections on the character sheet that I can think of. The first has already been mentioned, and that is the area for your Fortitude, Reflex, and Will saves. Those are calculated by looking at the class table, finding what level character you are, finding the appropriate Base save number, and adding the associated attribute modifier to it (Constitution for Fortitude, Dexterity for Reflex, and Wisdom for Will). The other area is for determining the DC (Difficulty Class) for the spells that you cast. That is determined by the following equation:

10 + Spell Level + Casting Stat modifier (Wisdom modifier for Paladins).

So, for example, if your Paladin was of high enough level to cast a 1st level spell, the Save DC would be: 10 + 1 (1st level spell) + 2 (15 Wisdom is a +2 modifier) = 13. If the spell allowed a Reflex saving throw, then your target would have to roll a total of 13 or more on their Reflex saving throw to save against the spell.

Is that a bit more clear?

This is a personal request from me, there is no policy on this board requiring you to comply, but could you take the time in your posts to use proper punctuation, capitalization, spelling, and grammar? It makes your posts look more intelligent, much easier to read, and generally makes people more receptive to answering your questions. Also, avoid using '1337' speak if you would. I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt, just giving some friendly advice.

Its ok, thanks then. Yes it is a lot more clear to me. What is '1337' speak? Heh, sorry I'm not that familiar with that kind of stuff. just lol, jk, ppl, afk, and ecetera. It's just much easier for me. Sorry, but I guess on these boards I'll use that ok?

Like I said, you don't have to do what I ask. I just find using jk, ppl, ur and the like to be personally annoying. I can see using it in instant messaging where you are trying to communicate ideas at a rapid pace, but otherwise it just seems lazy to me. I guess I feel like if you can't be bothered to write a post, then I can't be bothered to read it. Just my opinion though.

Glad I could be of help, and if you need more assistance, this board is a great resource! :D

Edit - Out of curiousity, why is it you want to play a Paladin?

In order,
It's ok! Yes, I guess it is lazy, so seriously you're right! No ones rushing me to post, so there's really no problem. Yes this board is a great resource, I've figured out a lot from it and I'm just about ready to start
I don't really know why I always choose to play as a paladin. Somehow I like the combination of holyness and strenth. I don't know why, but clerics bother me :p
I like the abilities like Lay on Hands and the armor capabilities and all that stuff. It's really in my opinion THE all around class. Later I do plan to play as a Sorcerer, Druid, and other classes, but for now I would like the Paladin to be my main, even though I'm not advised to play as it according to the character quiz on the wizards website. (They told me in a gnome cleric.) Or the quick start character creation because they tell you the easiest class to play. Paladin is not one of them, but I just really like them since I first tried them in World of Warcraft. By the way, should i abbreaviate that as WoW? Because that is really what most people call it even in a real convesation.

Oh and by the way, where did you find this out? I looked all over the handbook and didn't find a trace. Is it in the Dungeon Master Guide?

Check under the Paladin, under the spells section

Spells: Beginning at 4th level, a paladin gains the ability to cast a small number of divine spells, which are drawn from the paladin spell list. A paladin must choose and prepare her spells in advance.
To prepare or cast a spell, a paladin must have a Wisdom score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a paladin’s spell is 10 + the spell level + the paladin’s Wisdom modifier.
Like other spellcasters, a paladin can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. Her base daily spell allotment is given on Table: The Paladin. In addition, she receives bonus spells per day if she has a high Wisdom score. When Table: The Paladin indicates that the paladin gets 0 spells per day of a given spell level, she gains only the bonus spells she would be entitled to based on her Wisdom score for that spell level The paladin does not have access to any domain spells or granted powers, as a cleric does.
A paladin prepares and casts spells the way a cleric does, though she cannot lose a prepared spell to spontaneously cast a cure spell in its place. A paladin may prepare and cast any spell on the paladin spell list, provided that she can cast spells of that level, but she must choose which spells to prepare during her daily meditation.
Through 3rd level, a paladin has no caster level. At 4th level and higher, her caster level is one-half her paladin level.
