NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

"Come now, insect man, let's see what you can do.", Oromeax growls in his deep dragon throat, making himself audible easily even over the rush of the wind.

OOC: Woohoo, the one SLA that was really even feasible to cast with my open standard action looks to be nicely useful. (I was just hoping to make it annoying for non-dragons to advance into the VZ)

If Bugsy just attacks, then Oromeax will reply with another full attack at +12.
If Bugsy retreats to in sight but out of reach then blast him with lightning breath.
Other circumstances will require waiting to see what happens, I guess.

"As I was saying . . . Ow! Wtf was that?!"

Bugsy concentrates defensively and three of the centipedes become colossal. Bugsy mumbles something to them that only he can understand, but it sounds suspiciously like "Attack!" Bugsy then tumbles away and out of sight.

Now, the question is, which three can become colossal? Obviously, I'd like three within the center area, but I'll make any three colossal, using the exterior swarm if necessary. They can climb so perhaps one of the walls can become colossal?

Mod: [sblock] Final position 70n45e since I count the first 5ft as double due to tumbling. I presume the first 5ft is not cover but after that it's cover? [/sblock]

We can always count on Infiniti to make things simple. :p

The centipedes from any of the swarms are immune to targeted effects.

Three of the centipedes surrounding Bugsy Malone become colossal (30 foot space).

C1 is at 80N75E, with twenty feet of it going up the east wall.
C2 is at 105N65E, with twenty feet of it going up the north wall.
C3 is at 85N90E.

Bugsy successfully tumbles out of sight and blindsense range without provoking an AoO (29 Tumble check).

C1, C2, and C3 all miss with their bites (best roll 27).

Infiniti[sblock]Yes, that is correct.[/sblock]Greybar[sblock]Oromeax hears Bugsy move to 70N45E. Oromeax leads off round 394.[/sblock]

Wouldn't Oromeax be able to see him though the gap that is only 10ft high at that location?
[/sblock]

Greybar[sblock]hmmm...I did not think of that.

The wall just north of Bugsy is twenty feet high, but the wall NE of him is ten feet high. Yes, Oromeax can attack, although Bugsy will get cover.

Oromeax recognizes his next opponent as a huge nycaloth, a yugoloth from Gehenna. He knows that it is larger than the average nycaloth, that it is immune to poison and fire; resistant to cold, fire, and electricity; that wounds from its claws continue to bleed unless stopped with a Heal check or a cure spell; once per day it can summon another nycaloth or some mezzoloths; and it has the following spell-like abilities: deeper darkness, desecrate, fear, invisibility, mirror image, see invisibiliy, and greater teleport.[/sblock]Round 394

Oromeax attacks Bugsy Malone over the ten foot wall, hitting with every attack but one claw (rolled 46-12-4=30; worst hitting roll 47-12-4=31) for 160 points of damage.

Bugsy cannot heal fast enough to not be defeated.

Infiniti[sblock]The nycaloth recognizes its opponent as an Oceanus dragon that is at least ancient in age, an annoying good extraplanar dragon from the upper planes. It has two breath weapons: lightning or a gas that dazes those exposed; it is immune to electricity; it has damage reduction that is bypassed by magic (DR 20) and evil (DR 5) weaponry; and it has the following spell-like abilities: detect evil, control water, holy smite, control winds, and dispel evil.[/sblock]

The wind stops (24 CL check). The centipede swarms remain (27 CL check). The two centipedes in the Victory Zone shrink back to normal size (32 CL check), although C3 is still around at 85N90E. The little bit of fog is still there (28 CL check).

Next in round 394 for Neutral Evil is a nycoloth commander (yugoloth) (Monster Manual III).

Oromeax has 451 HP.

I assume the -4 is actually cover? For consistency sake, cover is a bonus to AC not a penalty to attacks.

The nycaloth commander enters the arena, but Oromeax can neither see nor blindsense him. The bugs then attack and then your turn, Oromeax.
[sblock] Appear at 105n55e40z, atop the VZ. Attempt to summon 1d3 mezzoloths, to appear around him on top of the VZ. [/sblock]

Thank you for clearing that up about the cover, Infiniti.

I made an error in the position of C3 (and the others) because I had them as huge instead of colossal. C3 is at 70N90E and its space is 30 feet.

The bugs go before the nycaloth commander, because Bugsy Malone does not get teleported out until the end of his turn, because he is not dead. I should have had C1 and C2 attack, as well, and had the wind do its thing.

Swarm 8070 is dispersed by the wind. Swarm 10060 is blown against the wall, has 31 HP, and has taken 15 nonlethal damage. The other swarms inflict no damage to Oromeax.

None of the colossal centipedes bite Oromeax (best roll 36).

The aforementioned magical dispellings happen.

Infiniti and Ugulu[sblock]Yes, Ugulu is correct. You have to appear at 0Z. That was extremely frustrating against Lady Mariangela. :p [/sblock]It is not your turn yet, Oromeax. The nycaloth commander has not entered the arena yet.

Okay then . . .
[sblock] Appear at 110n55e (crouching, squeezing) and trying summoning the mezzoloths. If they appear:

Curly @ 110n45e, casts cloudkill centered at 90n65e, then takes a 5ft-step east.
Moe @ 115n45e, takes a 5ft-step south then a cloudkill at the same location.
Larry @ 115n40e, cloudkill at the same location. [/sblock] Wait for it, Greybar. :)

Infiniti[sblock]The wall is twenty feet high, so crouching is probably not necessary, but I get the idea. The mezzoloths soitanly do not show up (rolled 32%) nyuk nyuk nyuk[/sblock]Greybar[sblock]Oromeax does not blindsense or hear or see his opponent.[/sblock]Oromeax, you lead off round 395.
