Ok for those that have never heard of this place, it's like ENW with a twist. You can talk about politics, religon, RPG's, etc. with no rules and just right. It's an offshoot of this place that many people post to, but currently we are falling on hard times.

Once again we are being booted from a hosting service. We have tried to keep small, but Nothingland has grown too large for shared hosting services. This is the third time we will have been shut down for being too large.

If Nothingland is to continue we must move to either dedicated hosting or a co-located server. We can't afford a server so dedicated hosting it is. This will cost us about $100/month in server rental and bandwidth. Once again we don't have the money out of pocket so we are asking the users of Nothingland to help us out.

The plan we have is to charge for full access on Nothingland. $2/month or $15/year, not too much to break the average user. This is a do or die plan if it doesn't work Nothingland may be gone for good.

If you haven't been over there, go over there, check it out, if you like it, help us out some. A small price to pay for getting the same good quality content that you can get here, but with all the raging emotions that go along with viewpoints from all over the world, in a controlled enviornet run by a deraged dr. and his happy wife cohort!

I'm in. People helped us kick in and support EN World; I think it's good karma for me to do the same for Nothingland.

For folks who don't care for Nothingland, please just pass this thread by. I find it to be a fun place, but it's definitely not for everybody, and I'd just as soon not have a discussion about that here. Thanks!

Nothingland is well-worth saving. I've had a really hard time over the past year and a half, and the Nothingland community has done alot to help me personally through the rough stuff. I encourage everyone who has benefited from that site to help out if they can afford to.

I'm twice the Bugbear I am today as I was before I visited Nothingland. Or maybe it's all the Pizza I've been eating..... Ah, well, nevermind. I'll pony up.
