Is that the only passage? My vote would be to skip that one and focus on the one that the tommyknockers came through.

I'm about to post but Questions:

-is the eastern passage to the 'BIG' room blocked?
-did the small goblin have their torch lit when they came down the passage (I think, no?)

I'm going to post on the assumption that the big room is blocked off and the goblin passed north without a lit torch.

It seems we stalled. I might just have Byron attack, despite Edmund’s warning not to. If only to jump start the game again.

@OneCrappy DM it would be good to know if the goblin made its save.

Are people still interested in continuing?

Well, we are waiting on the fascinate results so...maybe our DM is on vacation? It is slow time of the year for PbP. Hopefully nothing more serious.
