D&D 5E (OOC) Vault of the Dracolich 5E (Full)

You do not need to use the same weapon, and you do not need to attack in a row. You can attack, move, then attack. The Extra Attack Feature does not specify you attack with the same weapon. Merely that you attack twice. Now, without the dual wielder Feat, you cannot draw or stow more than one weapon at a time, so at least one weapon has to already be drawn. However, if I were the DM, I’d see no problems with what you suggested.

Nice, I now have a new respect for the Fighter class. And some ideals for my ranger Dellrak.

So if the DM will allow it that is a 22 vs the cultist for 6 dmg.
And an 18 vs the Dragon Mask for 7 dmg.

Right Ready is an action in itself. You only get two attacks if your Action for the turn is the Attack action.

Anyone else think they made 5e for the 13-15 yr olds to start playing D&D and not for us 40+ers

I started to play DnD less than 2 years ago, after my 50th birthday, and I like the simplicity of 5e. Two of my teenage kids started to play at the same time too. You are never too old or too young to start!
I have never played 3.5 or 4e but used to play the computer game Neverwinter Nights so I have some insight into 3.5 rules.

Actually, I did play DnD about 30 years ago, now when I think about it. It was the Swedish version of it, called Drakar och Demoner, and we were all new to it and had no clue. I was DM and the game (that finished 2am) was a TPK! We never played again.

Well welcome to the party. Better late than never. Me and my daughter (17) were walking through the books store (I was looking for X-Mas ideals from her) and I ran her through the world's shortest adventure.

"The Orc and the Pie"

I described the scene and she said she could see it in her head, and I told her... "That is what D&D is."
