I was thinking I could put a stealthy character together. Would you be ok with Taxabi?

I would be okay with Taxabi, although I think we are mistaking something: It really shouldn't be a stealthy party so much as an infiltration party. IE. Deception more important than stealth.

How long was it until nightfall?

I think you are at an hour and forty-five or so? It's close to an hour to the cave, if you don't want to make any checks (travelling as carefully as possible) otherwise, there's a chance of falling off the water-fall, sliding down the mountain, getting lost, etc... all stuff I'd rather gloss-over at this point by saying "you take your time and do it right". Both could be done, but it would be getting pretty dark when you get up there.

I say bring on the new team, and use NPC's if we have to. Heck, let's convince the Captain guy to come with us, and he and the guards can be the NPC's. Terrus can stay with them.

A Warlock with the Actor Feat and Mask of Many Faces would do wonders for that team. Pretend to be the captain, nobody's the wiser. Doesn't even matter what race they are.

I think I've established that you are not going to convince Rowloe to go there. Betraying the Beast is a worse-than-death sentence for him, and there is no way he is going to bank on your success. Your second suggestion is much better. @gargoyleking Does your Warlock have Mask of Many Faces?

I am going to work under the assumption that Party Three is something that is going to happen, and have Terrus go with Corrah. That leaves Bob as the only injured member of the Dispensables. Sesto can throw a heal at him or something and the Dispensables can get hiking.

Ok, a cat wouldn't make much sense, really. I'll go with something normal (human or halfling, or something with darkvision!)

None of us has Darkvision, right? That would make the ascent to the cave difficult, we don't want to walk up with torches ablaze, would we?
Maybe better to heal Fury and Terrus (maybe he can receive healing from new party members) and get going. What do you think?

Maybe Pyrus (not Fury!!! Duh) could lead us the last bit so that we avoid being ambushed? And we cross the river before nightfall. That way we can squeeze in a short rest. Would that work?

Terrus has an hour to wait for the Infiltration team to get to the Wagon. He can have his rest. It won't take them more than half an hour after that to get the wagon to the Watchtower.

For the Infiltration team, if you make a Half-Orc (like the Driver was) it might fool them for a bit.

With two Light worshippers, I think you'll probably go in with light. The Dispensables are NOT Team Stealth.

With a short rest Bob is only down 4 hp. Nothing to worry about at this point.

Mord can have Mask. I hadn't picked his invocations yet, and that seems like a good choice for a deception specialist. (Especially since he doesn't want to have the actual appearance of his natural self.)

There is talk of skipping that short rest (I had forgotten that you rolled it already). Well, it's up to you, being the only injured member of the party with Terrus leaving. (Up to you and Sesto, who should heal you otherwise.)

I would rather save the spells for later. In either case, Bob has a +3 to survival but no tools for it. But also isn't afraid of travelling in the dark. If need be.

Also, in either case, his second wind is a swift a tion that refreshes after a short rest. So might as well take advantage of it.

Okay, you will take the short rest when you get past the waterfall. Then you will climb the crags in the dim light of dusk and we will see how you do. (If you make it before dark).

As for Mord, I'm trying to figure out if he can afford any magic items beyond basic healing potions... I hate the DMG.
