Raza dropped her flaming bundle and hopped backward, then tried to stamp out the flames. Just as soon as she got one put out, it flickered back to life. The cracked jar of griffon grease rolled out of the sack; it had knocked against the something in the bundle and seeped all over everything, and was now burning merrily.

OOC: Does Solace have a clear shot of the guard who is directly above her at J12? I believe he/she/it has height, and so (for example) it is not necessary to disengage to move. If that's the case, then a melee attack is not possible and she'll use the crossbow.


Solace peeks out of the shadows in which she hides, and looks up at the guard towering above her. She fires, hoping to hit the creature in its underbelly.

"Gods damn it!! Stand down!!", Kamael swore as he moved over to Raza and tried to assist her in stamping out the flaming rags.

OOC: Still concentrating on the create bonfire spell, which technically has a duration of one minute, and so may need to be renewed soon. Not sure what action or roll may be needed to put out the flames.

OOC: @lowkey13, I'd don't think Brinn has a Climb speed? I need a Strength check for him to scale the 15' rock ledge to be able to reach the kuo-toa monitor. DC 11; there are a lot of hand- and footholds. [MENTION=23484]Kobold Stew[/MENTION], Solace has a clear shot with a ranged weapon to attack the kuo-toa monitor. [MENTION=33284]Yavathol[/MENTION], make a Constitution saving throw to maintain concentration of create bonfire. I'll resolve these acts when I get home (late) tonight; had a meeting in Indy today, and have a (gulp) ballroom dancing lesson tonight.
 



OOC: re: [MENTION=6799753]lowkey13[/MENTION] and Magic Jackie Chan:
PHB 182 discusses climbing speed, and 2:1 is the normal trade though at the DM's option a Str (Athletics) check can be imposed "climbing a sloppy vertical surface or one with few handholds".

Nice check roll in any case... Solace can learn something from you about dice rollers, it seems.
