Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Yeah, but if its core enough and you can't cook it yourself, it still means you're going to be chronically unhappy there, so there's a question of why you stick to it, and one of the possible answers is "I don't know if I'd like anything better" or in some cases "I barely know where another pizza shop is."
I don't disagree; that certainly is a problem that can happen. Admittedly a lot less frequently now that we have the internet and websites like EN World. There's usually very little doubt if someone is unhappy with a game 'round these parts. :)

When people are chronically unhappy with something, they usually say so...they don't lie and say they're actually happy with it. When someone says they enjoy playing and house-ruling OD&D or 3E or whatever, I believe them. Plenty of people enjoy customizing the game to suit their preferences, just as I enjoy customizing my burrito* at lunch.

*you thought I was gonna say pizza again, didn't you @overgeeked ?

Okra's hard. I've enjoyed it deep-fried with salt, but I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy shoe leather deep-fried with salt. I keep on getting maque choux as a side thinking I might like it, but I've either not had good maque choux, or, well, okra's not for me.
Pan or deep fried with cornbread breading, yeah. I've had it in soup/soup-adjacent things that were also yummy. I'm told there's a serving method that's boiled, and it just comes up slimey...

Well, yeah. Given how obsessed some of y'all seem to be with only ever eating pizza. And really, good for you for trying something new. Now if only you'd try some new games.
