I think it probably is busier on weekdays, and the political crazies dominate on Saturday mornings because all the normal people are off doing something offline.Interesting. I thought that social media tended to be busier on weekdays, when more people have access at work?
My feed has a lot of crazy stuff in it, but the trending topics are extremely nuts on Saturday mornings. It's all people screaming at each other, red in the face.depends on your feed on how crazy it is
My hats off, I have no idea how you folks spend any considerable time on social media like reddit and twixxer.
The r/UnearthedArcana subreddit is also very good, as was the r/monsteraday subreddit when it was more active. If you're extremely selective of what part of Reddit you hang out on it can be okay. I've never run into unpleasantness on the 4X Strategy Game subreddit for example.
Or maybe they just consume a lot more alcohol because they don't have to go to work the next day.Twitter is insane on weekends. It's not almost entirely the most extreme folks from every part of the political spectrum. Weekday Twitter is bad enough, but weekend Twitter -- especially early Saturday morning, possibly due to bots -- is nuts.
apparently new music sucks because it's too easy to make and consume or something like that
My brother think it was the 80s but he's like 46...my mom when she was still alive didn't listen to much beyond the 60s/70s. Right now I do believe that K-pop is the current trend or at least highly popular. And the internet has allowed for it all to flow easily into a grey mass. I was thinking about this from some other thread talking about fashion of all things. Music, fashion. Think of the diversity of sound, of style, we used to have.
What was the last major musical trend, and when did it start/end.
If its after 2015, I would be shocked.
Then again, my son tells me that music was better back in the 70's (he's 20) so I dont know.
