Just out of curiosity, do they mention anything related to demons or Satanism in there? I was under the impression that the Satanic Panic hadn't crossed the Atlantic, but that's only based on a few (often secondhand) accounts from various books I've read about the history of the hobby.Watching cop shows on Britbox, and the first story in Taggart season 5 (September 1989) has a few scenes of play of a D&D clone with some remarks on the gaming market and the view of the game from the outside.

The killer is ... Jack Chick!About 35 minutes in it has:
O1: "Sir, we once had a Christian debate on role playing games."
O2: (Sarcastic) "Really?"
O1: "Yeah, a lot of Christians think they're dangerous, they can take over people's minds."
O3: "What do you think?"
O1: "Well..."
And then he is cur-off by officer 2.
I'm about bit over an hour of the way in (1/2 way) and that's it so far in that vein.
