Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I eat lots of cake while it's warm, provided it doesn't have buttercream frosting or whipped cream on it (which would melt). I'll cut a slice of pineapple upside down cake and warm it up in the microwave. I'll warm up a slice of German chocolate cake the same way, too. I like to put a slice of pound cake in the toaster to brown it a little bit before I pile a bunch of berries and chocolate sauce on it. Chocolate lava cake? if it's cold, I'm sending it back.

So, to recap,

Warm cake: (y)
Warm buttercream: (n)

My sister is up from Florida, so we went out for a family dinner tonight. I told them I got a free 3-month subscription to Disney+ for buying a bunch of Coke. She thought I meant cocaine (I meant soda), and was dumbfounded that dealers were using such deals to entice buyers.

Fact is, there's nothing wrong with liking pineapples on pizza, so long as you don't try to force the topping on people who don't like it. Fact is, there's nothing wrong with not liking pineapples on pizza, so long as you don't try to shame the people who like it. Me, I like pineapples on pizza, have for decades, and the next time I try to force someone to try it will be the first.
The best foods are those you and others have strong, opposed opinions on. There is nothing like arguing over unimportant preferences to kickstart one's digestion.

This is the first time I've seen the word "cromulent". It seems to be close to the Swedish word "lagom".

This is what Chat GPT had to say on the subject:

While "lagom" and "cromulent" may seem similar in suggesting adequacy or appropriateness, "lagom" is a real word deeply rooted in Swedish culture emphasizing balance, whereas "cromulent" is a playful, made-up word from "The Simpsons" used to humorously suggest something is acceptable.
Just embrace the frabjous experience of encountering nounce words. Callooh! Callay!

The issue though is most of us had no idea that was going on. Pineapple pizza on its own, leads to pretty high spirited discussion. So i think most of us were just weighing in with sincere or hyperbolic views on that topic, slipping in another topic means there is a whole conversation peopel aren't aware of and is going to lead to confusion because posters who just think they are saying they hate pinnapple or like it, might be perceived to hold opinions on other issues they don't hold (and at this point I still am unclear on what Pineapple Pizza was code for)
I personally enjoy humoring myself by making incongruous posts, completely ignorant of the subtext.

What I love about this channel is it's the outside smoking area, or that couch off to the side, where you take a break from a party to talk nonsense with other irony obsessed misfits.
