So, they started the patch yesterday at noon, because I'm not the only person at work who doesn't like working on my off days. Two hours were allocated for the installation. They're deploying the patch starting at noon tomorrow. It should complete around 4:00 PM so that everyone has "plenty of time" to test before the end of the day.
I really hope we don't need help from the vendor techs, it's all I'm saying.
I wonder if it's like a Microsoft percentage; Takes 5 minutes to get to 26% and then 4 hours to get to 27%.So, they started the patch yesterday at noon, because I'm not the only person at work who doesn't like working on my off days. Two hours were allocated for the installation.
I left the call at 5PM. My services weren't at that time required, but the actual patch had only been started at 4PM because it turned out there were interim steps the vendor hadn't told us about that needed to be done.
I got to this morning to messages asking me to rejoin. The patch is stuck at 26%. After reboot, it got to 26% and got stuck again, so it's a definite issue.
I am so glad we started this on Thursday and not Friday evening.
Cisco, so yes.I wonder if it's like a Microsoft percentage; Takes 5 minutes to get to 26% and then 4 hours to get to 27%.
There was a radio show(and now a podcast I think) done by Phil Hendrie. What he would do is have a "guest" on who would say something super outrageous. He and the "guest" would have a little back and forth and then he would open the phone lines up to callers. The thing is, the "guest" was just him doing another voice. Phil is pretty good with voices and could switch back and forth very quickly so it seemed like it really was two people arguing over the topic.Apologies as this might be border-line politics posting..
But there's an account on X I follow that's a parody of a California State Representative. I'm pretty certain the profile says "PARODY" and if you Google his "District", it doesn't exist. It's pretty blatantly a joke.
But boy oh boy does it fly over the heads of the people in his replies. The comments are often funnier than the posts themselves. People on both sides of the aisle take him entirely seriously and get all sorts of mad about it.
You mean, let me understand this cause, you know maybe it's me, it's a little messed up maybe, but you're summoning me like I'm you're monkey. What, you think I'm you're trained monkey here to amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to frakkin' amuse you?
I just learned of the existence of mate tea. Dunno why I'd never heard of it before, but, well, there it is. Haven't tried it but, was wondering if anyone had. It's not tea - as in it's not made from tea leaves but from something called a yerba tree. Is it something I should look for? The pictures I saw looked kinda neat.

More than ten years ago, when Teavana was still around, they had a Zingiver Ginger Rooibos tea. That stuff is amazing, and I still have a quarter-container I'm saving because I don't know where (or if) I'll ever find more.Couple of years back got introduced to rooibos. It's an African herbal tea. No caffeine. Love it. I usually have it with oat milk.nIt's a good sleepy time tea.
