Real Professions anyone? or What did you do when you grew up?

This could be a poll, but there are too many possible responses - I can't recall this being asked before, but I'll ask it anyway:

What is everyone's profession? I'm curious to see what cross-section of the population we have for gamers.

I'll go first:

I'm a computer programmer - and have worked professionally at that for over six years.
However, I am in law school and will be a lawyer when I am finished with that - first clerking, then private practice.

(Which also makes me wonder how many lawyers there are on here - I know there are probably plenty of RULES lawyers, but that isn't exactly what I'd be looking for...)

I'm a buyer for a large Midwestern OEM. I've been doing that for about 4 years, after finishing my MBA.

EDIT: And shouldn't this be moved to OT?

I'm an IT manager at a law firm.

And I'm working on my Masters in English, as a step toward my PhD

My mundane existance

Im currently a dispatcher/customer service agent for a technologies company in the NW suburbs of Chicago, and have pretty much always been in customer service in one form or another.

Currently I'm wrapping up my third year of a double major in Computer Science and Physics. I worked for a science camp for teenagers last summer, and got paid to blow up garbage cans, build trebuchets, and implode paint cans. What do I want to be if I grow up? Not a clue... though if I can get a PhD in robotics, I can get research money and waste the rest of my days trying to build Megaman. ;)
