Oh and before I forget....

Remember now that there are one less of us PC'ing DF to scale the battles without the use of Thomas now DF otherwise we may have issues and much harder battles than we're expecting heh...

Ok DF.... Uncertain here to say the least?....

Do we roll initiative and just go for this round and take up initiative order the next round or just wait and roll initiative this round and wait for others to do the same then post actions?

Also can you list again what hero points can be spent on?... I was half thinking I'd like tyo try and spend one to step in front of the queen at take the hits for her if that would be possible...

Yeah, sorry if I didn't make that especially clear. Combat proceeds the same way we've been doing it - no real initiative order - just post your actions for the round.

As far as Hero Points go, the actual list is this:
Spend 1: Gain an extra action point to use anytime you want.
Spend 3: Gain a level.
Spend 5: Converse with a deity of your choice.
Spend 10: Acquire an epic-level artifact.

However, if you'd like to spend your points for something else, just run it by me. If you'd like, you can just spend your action point to jump in front of the spear before it hits the queen, and save your Hero Point for something else.

No initiative order, eh?

Does that mean feats and abilities that grant bonuses to initiative aren't being used? Not an issue NOW, but definitely something I'll want to know before I take Quick Draw, or an init-boosting item.

Right. If everybody would rather follow a traditional initiative order instead, let me know. Currently, though, initiative-boosting feats and items wouldn't have a mechanical effect on the flow of battle (unless we did a surprise round or something of that nature). However, I think the way we've been doing it is fine.

Don't worry, no plans to quit quite yet ;) I am interested to see how Squeal develops. I generally have a very loos concept for a character and let his personality develop during the game, and Squeal has surprised me a couple of times already.

My apologies if I miss one or two days over the next couple of weeks, access to internet my be sporadic at times due to an office move.

Holding my post till I see if you will change the attack and damage from the queen to Rathan's character. Let me know here when or if not the change/ no change is done.
