Release date for Conan d20?

Anybody have the Mongoose "Conan d20" US release date? I heard it was supposed to be out the middle of this month. I'm stoked, esp. after seeing the previews.

I haven't yet heard an exact date but I am interested in thumbing through it to see if it's worth mining for ideas to use in my own "low-magic" game.

If Mongoose is consistent, it should be the third or fourth week of the month judging from their past releases.

Anybody have a link where I can buy this book discounted online?

I've tried searching Amazon and Wal-Mart, and must say their search features suck. On Wal-Mart, a bunch of d20 books showed up in "Books: Home & Garden", but there were a few in every single category of book they carried, no matter how inappropriate, LOL.

FRP Games has it for pre-order at $10.00 off: http://www.frpgames.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=7581. The EN World/RPG Shop site will probably sell it at a 10% discount. Since Amazon doesn't have anything else of Mongoose's discounted, I doubt they'll discount Conan.

Yes. They rule like a large ruling thing.

Sorry, couldn't resist. But, really, FRP pretty much has a lock on my game buying. I've got no local game shop, so I do most of my buying online, and I've gotten really good service from FRP. They've got a really wide selection of d20 stuff, and a decent amount of non-d20 stuff too. Delivery's pretty consistent at under 2 weeks from order date. And they have a discount on everything.

I want this too. Had my eye on it sort of, but Ive been off DnD for a while. This may get me back into it once again. Im hoping the magic system is "low" like the stories.

One question..Any previews on how modified the rpg is? The book is well over 300 pages, so is it a OGL "stand alone" product or more like a setting like FRCS?
