Scotley's Tomb of Horrors 3.5

ooc; invisble castle seems to be down right now, so no int check possible. i have a +1 modifier, so it would take a 20 to pass the int check

OOC: Seems to be working now Int check (1d20+1=17).

Harrison considers the hill carefully. There is something funny about the north side, but he can't quite place it. Maybe if he could see it from the air it would make more sense...

OOC: Are the stones arranged in any sort of pattern? Do they seem to form letters or words? Maybe they are arranged to represent a map? Just throwing ideas around here.

OOC: We really seem to be a very bright bunch of adventurers! hehehe (Guess we'd have to be to go looking for this tomb on purpose.....)

OOC: keep in mind we were told of a great evil that needed to be defeated...

IC:

Harrison looks at the peculiar stone formation and scratches his head ... then rubs his chin ...then scratches his head again ..." i ...uh...that...uhhhh...i think ..." then he tilts his head one way, then another then rubs his forhead... " it uh ... maybe, ... no no no...urm... uh ..."

Logan does a little sketching and suddenly realization dawns.

The north side of the hill looks like a skull with the dark rock piles against the white stone looking like empty eye sockets and a hole for the nose. The rocks at the bottom look a little like teeth. Could there be something behind the rock piles?

"Friends? Gather 'round a moment, I have something to show you: See, now, the way those dark rocks are arranged in contrast to the white stones makes this whole hillside look rather like a skull, you see, with the dark rock piles against the white stone looking like empty eye sockets and that hole there being the nose. The rocks at the bottom could even look a little like teeth, if you close one eye and hold your mouth just right. For some reason, that makes me wonder if there is something behind the rock piles, but I"m not sure why."

Tsal'Eie volunteers to help you clear some of the rocks if that is your plan. Sine'Gile is very clear that neither he nor Tsal'Eie will enter the tomb, but they will be happy to maintain a camp on the hill and help with the digging.

OOC: Sorry guys crazy busy week. I'm trying to get back on track now.

OOC: Logan agrees with Tsal'Eie. He will help her to begin to clear the rocks while Sine'Gile and the others make a quick camp. We will expect your assistance after that, however. ;)

"Let me help clearing the rocks. With this adamantine axe, we can just cleave through the bigger ones." Garagos says, looking for the axe.

Harrison will start moving rocks. Upon the suggestion of a base camp, he looks to the others and says that he thinks that is a great idea.
