Scotley's Tomb of Horrors 3.5

Logan will use 1 charge from his healing belt for 2d8 on himself = 6 :(

Then he will use the remaining 2 charges on Harrison, 3d8= 15 2 charges of healing belt on Harrison (3d8=15)

Now 2 cure lights on Harrison for 1d8+5 each = 13,8 2 clw on Harrison (1d8+5=13, 1d8+5=8)

Now 2 cure moderates on Harrison for 2d8+5 each = 13,8, 2 cmw on Harrison (2d8+5=13, 2d8+5=8)

"How are you feeling now?"

ooc: how weird that the clw and the cmw cured exactly the same amount!

start: 18 +
post 747: 22 (yes i did miss that) +
post 756: 39 (ahhhhhh) =
79/97

Harrison smiles in great relief. "thank you priest of pelor. you do the light bringer great honor." he then proceds to assist the removeal of sand from the next passage and when completed he will grin and stay outside while the trap springers do their job.

OOC: Your math is off by a little. You overstated the cure moderate by 3 hp, so you're actually at 79/97. Sorry.

"Thank you Harrison. I am a bit reluctant to call my Sovreign Pelor by the appellation "light bringer" since that is my surname, but your sentiments are nonetheless much appreciated."

]ooc[ actually my math is way off all over:

2 charges: 15
2 cure lights: 13+8 = 21
2 cure mods: 13+8 = 21
total 57

now at 97 of 97

"I'm feelin' much better know. But If someone can spend some more healing on old Garagos, I will gladly soak it up.." Garagos says.

Garagos could still use some healing. (26 HP missing)
@Leif: Did you subtract your DR from the initial damage?

Tsal'Eie moves to help Ballista and within an hour they can see that their is indeed a space behind the rock pile. After shoveling some sand they manage to open a space big enough to thrust an everburning torch through. A cooridor roughly 20' wide and perhaps 60' long extends into the hillside. A few more hours digging will be required to fully open the passage. Two separate doors are dimly visible at the end of this roughly worked, plain stone corridor.

Once revived and she sees the others trying to clear a way to the other passage, Jillian goes to help clear the passage as well. Once there is enough space for her to squeeze through, she will start from the opening searching very thoroughly. She will use her torch to light her way.

OOC: Taking 20 on search checks for a total check of 34.

OOC: You know, you're totally correct! :D Logan has 3 more hit points than thought! In my defense, I've never played a character before who had DR.

Logan takes pity of Garagos and favors him with some additional beneficent healing enegy from his CL1 Wand of Cure Light (2 charges expended), healing Garagos for 9 more hp. 2 charges for Garagos from CL1 Wand of cure light wounds. (2d8+2=9)

Having just had a lesson in the dangers of overconfidence, Jillian takes great care in searching the newly revealed passage and after a painstaking search finds another trap. However, she also discovers a hidden bypass switch. Turning off the trap, Jillian examines it with care and uncovers the fact that this is another dead end. The doors are false. A wall would have closed behind those foolish enough to try the door and then the ceiling would have slowly crushed them. Jillian's careful search makes a full excavation unnecessary?

OOC: Will you continue to dig here anyway or try the third rock pile.

Ballista, HP48/48, AC 24/29vRanged(FF19/24vR-T15/20vR) F5 R13 W6

Ballista will indeed proceed to the third rock pile after hauling their little scout out of the 2nd dead end. She tries to make the most of the elemental helpers while they last. "Well, it seems fairly obvious as to where the entrance is hidden." She adds with a sheepish grin as she continues. "Three caves...nobody said anything about three caves." The others notice that she doesn't take any care as she moves the stones, and that even when she damages her hands in the proccess she doesn't stop, and the wounds quickly close on their own.

"Thanks, Logan. One or two nights rest should take care of the other bruises. On the three caves, my dwarven sense is tingling, suggesting to dig for the third entrance!" Garagos says.

No real sense, just a hunch from the player ;).

Logan says, "My sense is that Garagos has the right idea. I fear that these passageways are all going to prove to be nothing more than dead ends filled with more deadly traps."
