Garagos, AC 29 (T19, FF27), HP 90/107, DR 3/-, F +11,R+6,W+10

Garagos follows into the 'safe' room and says: "Let's go on. I will move in front and cover you, if we encounter a thread, that I can counter with axe and shield. I'm not much good against traps.

Nice riddle. Hope it really helps and isn't some sort of trap!"

"By Pelor's puissant partridges! That is an ominous message! I say we just head for home now and beat the rush."

Harrison gives Logan a sidelong glance.

" I have never seen a priest of Pelor to ever be in fear of anything before. I hope this is not going to be a first."

he then Procedes to enter without any further ado

Harrison gives Logan a sidelong glance.
" I have never seen a priest of Pelor to ever be in fear of anything before. I hope this is not going to be a first."
he then Procedes to enter without any further ado
Logan looks affronted, "MEEEE? You think I was speaking of myself? His jaw drops precipitously. "No, no, no, my good Harrison, I simply thought that I would at least try to be accommodating for you 'lesser' mortals! Hold me back! Priest of Pelor comin' through!" And with that, Logan boldly strides forward. BEHIND Harrison, of course. ;)

Silently praying that the banter between Logan and Harrison will soon end, Zorn quickly steps into the safe area and begins to contemplate the riddle.

Whomever wrote this riddle is clearly insane. Just once I would like someone to clearly write exactly what they mean without having to hide everything in riddles!

Grackle "Grubeater" Granitetop, gnome sorcerer 9

Grackle stops babbling to the floor-stones, gets up off his knees, and whines "Awww, the rockses are shy an' won't answer me."

Then he hears the spoken riddle, and sees others walking out. "OOOH! Oohh! I not know what silly big man say, but I can check walls! I check walls good! I climb good! There bugs an' shinies an' strange slimy gooey eatey things in unnerground pits! I look! I look!" He dribbles some more onto his shirt while scurrying back to the exit of the room, where he had come in, and then continuing until he can barely see the room.

Then he calls out "Hurty stuffs might fall likes when Jill pokes floor! Might wanna leave!" With that, he starts gibbering again and summons two more animate clumps of rock and dirt. He gnashes out "Hi rocks! I Grackle. Go hit lots of different spots on that wall, and floor next to it. Look for holes and tell me where." in Terran.

Ballista, HP48/48, AC 24/29vRanged(FF19/24vR-T15/20vR) F5 R13 W6

Ballista scratches her head as the party walks right by below her without any kind of all clear signal. "Um do you guys like being dead from traps killing you? Jillian hasn't said anything even close to something like safe, or woo hoo treasure, or ouch my foot. Do you think its really a good idea to head in without acually resting first? I know all my spells and ability to heal others is gone for the day. And since most of us already almost died today, we might want to take it slow. We have identified this as the entrance, so lets go make camp now." And with that, Ballista heads back out of the cave to wait to hear the screams of the silly types poking around inside.

Logan Lightbringer, Cleric9, AC28,FF27T17,HP76-10+3DR=69/76, DR3/-, F+9,R+4,W+11

Logan jumps out of his skin when Ballista starts speaking. "Good Heavens, Lass! I forgot you were up there!" Then, thinking about what she actually said, "You know, she's right. We have no business going in there in the shape we're in. I'm staying out with the smart folks." Logan withdraws from the passage to the surface.

Garagos, AC 29 (T19, FF27), HP 90/107, DR 3/-, F +11,R+6,W+10

Garagos follows the others out and says: "Of course, you are right. Time is no issue this time. We should take the time to regain our strength. But this swamp is dangerous, too. If good Jillian found no trap, and is still alife, it might be safer to camp in the first room. Maybe it's because I'm a dwarf, but I feel safer behind a stonewall, than sitting in a swamp."

Logan Lightbringer, Cleric9, AC28,FF27T17,HP76-10+3DR=69/76, DR3/-, F+9,R+4,W+11

"Sorry, Garagos, but I can't agree with you in this case. I mean, you have to look at WHERE the particular stone wall is -- these stone walls make up the tomb of a notorious, powerful wizard! I'd feel safer sleeping in a swamp cuddled up to an alligator than I would sleeping in here!"
