So I finally watch the first season of Lost...

Flexor the Mighty!

18/100 Strength!
...and good Lord does this show live up to the hype. I don't know another show where I felt like I had an emotional attachment to characters after the freakin' pilot episode. The guy who plays Jack is amazing, I know if I was in that situation I'd be following this guys lead. And Kate...wow! I really enjoy watching all the main characters. I rented DVD 1 on Friday, and now I'm going to grab 4-6 to finish off season 1 so I can be caught up by next week or so. I saw the first episode of season 2 and was totally lost, then missed the next one. So I acquired a copy of last weeks show, and I'll tape this week, and be caught up by the time episode 4 plays.

I've only got the first 12 episodes watched, but I don't think I'll watch another show until I get the rest of the season knocked out. Just amazing stuff, mainly due to the strength of the characters.

I should just quit screwing around and buy the first season and not spend 11 more bucks renting the rest.

For fun you should go back to the old threads here and check them out.

Yep, you'll be amazed at the amount of small things that you may have missed, but others around here will point out. Like the guardian sharks.

They should start calling fans of the show The Other Others or possibly something like The Loster or perhaps Surivors from the Cargo Hold.

I only ever watched two and 1/2 episodes on TV. I later got it on DVD.

I wonder how hard it is so brand a shart. I did it once years ago when my family was running cattle and that was a hassle. And cattle arn't flesh-eaters. Or at least our weren't.

I hope they kill more characters this year.

I did this religiously on every Tuesday (the show airs here on Monday), and I was amazed at many of the tidbits and comments. It was like time travelling, me reading threads from last year or something...

Yeah, count me as a Lostling... :)

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice that last week. Lost and BSG are the only shows that can make me sit bolt upright in my chair or bed and say "what the heck??" I love it.
