Even with it's flaws, SNW is still the best Trek we've had after a long dry spell. Every time I have an issue with something going on, all I have to do is think about Voyager and all sins are forgiven!
I'm more charitable to "Voyager", after subsequent viewings, but still think that the ship would have been depopulated via spacings, if I was the captain, before season 1 was over.

"Enterprise" and "Discovery", on the other hand....

I really liked Discovery. I think it did a good job capturing the optimism of Star Trek. Quibble all you want about the implausibility of a mycellium network spore drive and all that. It still FELT like Star Trek to me.

Voyager, on the other hand, FELT like a soap opera in space, and I bounced off it pretty hard. Never looked back. Have never bothered with Enterprise.

So yeah, while this season of SNW is a bit rockier than the first two, it's still fantastic stuff. I think if it weren't for the obvious budgetary restrictions, recent writers' strike issues, etc, this season would be as top-notch as the first two were, and I will keep watching till we run out of road.

I know there are Discovery fans out there, but a lot of episodes just seemed boring to me. There was a lot of pointless filler all around. I found few of the characters even likable. That didn't mean it was all bad- Janeway's coffee obsession was always good for a chuckle, even if her relationship with the Prime Directive was questionable at best.

Oh and Kate's delivery of that final line to the evil clown. "I'm afraid!" "I know!!!!"

The next season is in production, I believe, so hoping that they bring their A Game for it. Their B Game is still pretty good ;)

I absolutely despised the slide into "Borgwatch", when Seven-of-Nine joined the cast. Then, on later viewings, I realized that her episodes were some of the best.

I'd argue Lower Decks actually broke the dry spell.

Too many people dismiss it as just a cartoon or just going for laughs. But, IMO, it holds up as one of the better Trek series overall, certainly much more consistent than Discovery and as good as Strange New Worlds.
