Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

They left about as much as the Jedi did by the third movie of the first trilogy, but I was referring to the original title of RotJ, being Revenge of the Jedi and then being released at the 11th hour as Return of the Jedi.

And because of it, the producers of Star Trek II had to change "The Revenge of Khan" to "The Wrath of Khan."

The original trailer for Revenge is floating around the net somewhere I'm sure. Here, in fact.

Bah, RealPlayer.

I liked the title I came up with a few years ago, which then saw use as the title for a mildly infamous joke script an acquaintance of mine wrote:

Star Wars Episode III: Yoda Goes Nuts And Hides In The Swamp

The script can be found here.

It will be an interesting exercise to watch the entire hexalogy in order, from Phantom Menace to Return of the Jedi (with Clone Wars inserted between 2 and 3), trying watch it as if seeing the characters for the first time.

I'm interested to see what someone who's never seen them thinks after doing this. All I need is a clone and to make sure he doesn't watch any of the movies until he's of the appropriate age.

I actually have a sister-in-law who's never seen a Star Wars movie. Although the fact that she's never seen one is probably a good indication of what she'd think of it, too. So, if we can convince her, we can get her reaction after seeing all three back to back, but I'm not holding my breath.

See, my wife, on the other hand, while she won't touch gaming, at least gets pretty excited about seeing a Star Wars or Lord of the Rings movie in the theater.

I'm actually counting on my nephews who still haven’t seen the original trilogy (at least I’m pretty sure they haven’t), but there still rather young so by the time they’re old enough to really understand what’s going on they’ll likely have watched all of them enough it may be hard to judge anyway.
