Blade Master

A blade master is some one that gets so good with a sword that they do amazing things with their weapon. Learning to focus there Ki in new ways they might not have been Abel to do other wise.

Requirements
To qualify to become a Blade Master, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.
Alignment: Any none chaotic
Base Attack Bonus: +8
Feats: Weapon Focus (Any sword), Weapon Specializon (Any sword), and Quick Draw.

Class Skills
The Blade Master’s class skills (and they ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Jump (Str), Move Silently (Dex), Iaijutsu Focus (Cha), and Tumble (Dex).

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the blade master prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Blade Master’s gain no new proficiency with weapons and armor.
Martial Sword (Ex): Blade Masters receive a +1 morale bonus to attacks made with the chosen sword that the blade master has weapon focus and weapon specializon in.
Better Critical (Su): The chosen sword’s critical range improves by the indicated number.
Master of Iaijutsu Focus (Ex): When using the Iaijutsu Focus skill add you blade master level to the final result.
Skill Focus: The blade master gains the Skill Focus (Iaijutsu Focus) feat for free.
Ki Sword (Su): You can use your wisdom modifier in addition to your strength modifier to determine attack and damage modifiers.
Master the sword (Su): When using your chosen sword you can deal extra damage equal to your blade master level this ability can be used only once every two character levels of this prestige class.
Tougher than I look (Su): For every two levels in the Blade Master prestige class add that number as a natural armor bonus.
Power of the Blade Master (Su): Add 1d4 two your melee attacks with your chosen weapon.

Other than that Its VERY powerful. I'd really look at just mixing Iajutsu Master and Kensai classes. From those two with a level or so of rogue/monk and a good feat selection you can have a devestating Blade Master.

For a couple of specifics: The crit bonus is very potent.

When seeing if a prestige class is balanced first apply it to a maximized character. With the right choices of feats and magic items this would most definitely be over the top.

But a lot of it comes down to the campaign your using something in. If you and your chums are playing High Power then its probably just right.
