The Blue & The Grey (Long Shots)

After a flash of badges, the administrator in charge of registering new horses confirms that Nealy is looking to nominate a horse. "I have his application right here. It looks like we are waiting for the paperwork to come back from Ireland, where his horse was sired. Everything else is in order, although he has yet to do any workouts at this track."

"Ireland, that seems like a strange place for a racing horse? Mind if I take a look at that." Bishop will state. He will copy down the info.

It includes an address for Nealy in Monte Nido, in the hills. The horse's name is Dalriata.

"I agree - most of the thoroughbred stock comes right from England. If the papers, check out, though, it shouldn't make a difference."

"Thanks for help. Any idea where the horse is located?" Bishop will state.

Once outside Bishop will look over at his partner "Up to the Hills or to the other track?"

"Let's check that address out," Heywood says. "I doubt we'd get much more than that at the other track."

He wrinkles his nose. "Besides, I'm getting tired of the smell of horses."

The address is a pretty large piece of land. To get to the home, you drive through an archway and along land fenced in for horse pasturage. In several spots along the southern side you can see the ocean.

A sprawling mission-style mansion is at the end of the driveway, in front of a stable and several smaller outbuildings. When you ring the bell, a maid comes and tells you that Nealy is staying in one of the smaller buildings in the back. It is pretty easy to find, and he responds to your knock.

"Evening, gents," he smiles. "What can I do for you?"

"I understand you know a Louis Aiello, what can you tell me about him?" Bishop will state. As Nealy responds will watch Nealy's eyes, trying to tell whether the man is lying or not.
