The Crux of the Matter

"Yeah that was the first ghost or wraith I've ever stopped to talk to. Great job on the rhyming Rinaldo, I know I'm not as eloquent. Provided we are continuing and giving this door a pass for now, I'd suggest sticking with the left for now." replies Tenebrynn.

[SBLOCK=Ashnar]Definitely not undead--maybe some other kind of wraith--but incorporeal, so normal attacks won't work and even magic is unreliable[/SBLOCK]

"Left it is then," Vanitri says.

As they continue, he will keep his eyes and ears open for anything "odd". Secret doors or alcoves, odd wall decorations, strange magical eminations or lights, etc.

*The group heads in the diagonal forward-left direction, leading up to a doorway.*

(OOC: Can I assume Rinaldo spends 2 minutes on every door to take 20?)

OOC: Except if I tell otherwise, Rinaldo make a search every square and he take 20 on teh typical trapped items: Doors, Trapdoors, Containers and Books (yeah, book, we are in a wizard tower and they like to trap there books).

"That one seem safe... let's sse what behind." Rinaldo make a sign to everyone to stay silent and he put his ear on the door to listen on the other side. If he hear nothing he will open the door and lead the group in.

*Hearing nothing, Rinaldo opens the door. This room is a comfortable-looking and elegant reading-room. Inside are a few books, including one still open on the desk in front of the soft-looking chair. There is a thin short pedestal with an empty silver platter atop it, reachable from the chair. The room is lit through some sort of dweomer, it seems, and it is decorated with paintings and a mirror with a decorative frame.*

*The desk is made of fine mahogany, and holds an inkwell and some pens and paper as well as the book, which is written in a language Vanitri cannot understand.*

[SBLOCK=Vanitri]Vanitri also was affected by something, so have him act unnaturally gloomy and sad until I say otherwise--should be fun ;) [/SBLOCK]
