The Shield

Nightfall

Sage of the Scarred Lands
Well season six is under way. And while some things I expected, there was a lot I didn't, especially at the end. I feel for Dutch as he's trying so hard to be objective but also be a human being. Still there's a lot going on to see what happens. It's truly another great season for those that like Noir.

I thought it was a great episode.

As usual Vic and the crew start off in the hole, now we get to see how they get out of it.

I want to see Cavenaugh gets brought down

We have three or four.... you've got to be kidding me.

Yup, another great episode and it'll be interesting to see how all the drama plays out.

What an idiot I am. I've been talkinga bout watching it for weeks. Then yesterday, I had some friends drop by unexpected and forgot about it during a spontaneious game of Railroad Tycoon.

Does FX let you watch shows online?

Don,

No but they show a repeat of it usually right after the premiere. I'm also pretty sure they'll rerun it again soon.

Random thoughts

Ok, just saw it... wow. That was powerful. It felt like i was trapped in a closet the whole episode. Its like its all just caving in. Kavanaugh is setting Vic up good. Shane's guilt is eating him up, GOOOD!!!!

It was good to see all the main and sub characters in this one.

Is it just me or does the camera seems different. It felt a little grainier than previous seasons and gave it a really different effect.

THe only minor complaint is that i dont know how in the world they can think that Kavanaugh won't take this personally. Twice this episode he seemed to be pulling something out of his but.

Well so far no one has caught on that he is pulling things out of his but and setting Vic up. Dutch seems to think he is up to something, and Kavanaugh knows it.

Amazing episode. I'm wondering already how it'll end. When
Kavenaugh was planting the evedience
I was practicly yelling at the TV.

On a related note, anyone get the season 5 DVD yet. The documentary's were exceptionaly good. Really delving into the writers decision to off Lem and all the actor's stuggles with it. Also the season 6 "prequel" they included was pretty cool to. Not integral to the plot, but a nice send off for Lem.

I'll have to buy it now. Is that where the funeral clip from the promos comes from?
