Now that you have a plan in mind, you have little left to do today but going to sleep. You´re not the only ones: other guests give you their goodnights when you meet them in the corridor of the 2nd floor.

The sheets are so clean that they creak, inviting you to a comfortable sleep after the last week sleeping in uncomfortable hammocks. You dream with picnics and campfires.

Banion, Draig :
Something awakens you. Maybe it´s the fact that it´s not a dreamed campfire what you´re smelling, but real smoke. And you hear noises in the floor below
 

Draig rolls out of bed in a state of alarm. He shakes everyone awake and grabs his gear, shouting "There's a fire! Get out!" before heading to the door and checking to see if it's hot.

If it's not, he opens the door to try and get out, banging on any other doors in the corridor to try and wake any other residents and making as much noise as possible. If it is hot, he'll look to the window as a potential exit, and see how far the drop is.
 


Grabbing up his gear, Banion quickly gets into his leather armor and tells Draig what (if anything) he can see at the window.

"The fire may have been set on purpose as part of an ambush. Stay alert!"
 

Once Draig bangs on his door, Beamer awakens and grabs his haversack containing all he owns. Upon hearing the word fire, he casts ghost sound into the hall. A sound of 12 men yelling "Fire!" in unison is heard, surprising even Beamer with its volume.

At Beamer's spell, Banion winces.

Well, after that, I hope Draig is right... that'll require a bit of explanation if the building isn't actually on fire.
 

Banion glances through the window at the quiet street -everything seems quiet outside- and starts donning his armor, while at the same time Draig gets his weapon and checks the door. It´s not hot, and the corridor isn´t on fire. However, a red and yellow glow comes from below, along with some crashing sounds.

Then Beamer finishes his spells and cries of alarm shake the small inn.
 


ooc: Donning your armor takes 1 minute, or 5 rounds if you do it hastily (worsening armor check penalty by 1). How are you going to do it?
