Artea laughs loudly. "How cute", says. "Do any of you have a name? and, is this how halflings start this kind of things?"

She crosses her legs and takes the comb again.

[sblock=Banion ]You bore for several minutes watching the door, when it opens and someone comes outside of the building. Seems to be a young boy or girl -it´s difficult to say, since he/she wears a long hooded cloak- and quickly descends the stairs to the street.[/sblock]

[Sblock]If the direction is consistent with heading to the guard's keep, Banion will try to intercept within a block or two, assuming that allows him to do so well before the messenger would actually reach the guards. He'll aproach with a friendly hello, and add "Could I ask you for the favor of some information? Perhaps we could help each other."

If heading in another direction (not towards the guard), Banion will follow for a bit. If nothing interesting develops, he will return after tailing the messenger for five minutes.[/sblock]

[sblock=Banion ]Whoever came out of the brothel is indeed going in the citadels´general direction. Since he/she isn´t running or walking particulary fast, Banion has no problem advancing a block or two, and then wait.

She´s a blonde human girl, now that Banion has the opportunity to see under the cloak, and the halfling´s sudden apparition startles her a bit.

"What?" she says, then more calmed. "Sorry, but I´m in a hurry"[/sblock]

[sblock]"Is your trouble with the Halfling gentleman that just walked into that establishment? I'm in the process of investigating his actions, and in exchange for any information you might have I could take care of any problem he might be causing."[/sblock]

[sblock=Patlin ]"Did Idrag sent you?" asks her. She seems to be skeptical, but apparently the lie passed. [/sblock]

[sblock]"Actually, I'm employed by the jealous girlfriend of the halfling in question. My employer, who has more money than taste, suspected that her paramour's 'business trips' might include activities of which she would not aprove. I think his current location supports this... do you know what sort of favors he was attempting to purchase? My mistress will want particulars. I know little of the house, ma'am, so pardon me for the ignorant question, but are the practitioners exclusively women, or is he perhaps seeking services from a boy?"

"Oh, and if you want him gone, dropping my employers name ought to send him packing quick enough, and no questions to be asked about your house. I assume you'd prefer to keep your business as private as possible?"[/sblock]

The girl shudders. "Oh, ****, no." she says. "Only girls there. The halfling and the dwarf wanted a service from Artea, if that´s enough for you. We don´t care for that, but the captain does. I have to leave"[/sblock]

"I am Beamer and this is Draig. We are business men given to long days and sometimes nights of negotiations. If by this sort of thing you mean a conversation, then yes. We were just hoping for some amicable female companionship, not ... the other. Tell us a little about yourself."

She sighs. "Ok, I´ll tell you about me. My mother was the daughter of a baron which fell in love with the castle´s elven swordmaster. She fled with him, and they had me. As my mother grew older, my father lost interest in her and finally we were expelled from the elven village."

"As my grandfather disowned my mother, we couldn´t return, so we had to make a living as we could. My mother died soon after, leaving me alone. I had to do something, and this is what I finally found I could do better."

"What about you?"
