Can my magical mace be shaped in the likeness of the head of George.
Not only could have your magical mace be shaped in his likeness, but you could make it into a sentient weapon that can talk and sound like George too.Can my magical mace be shaped in the likeness of the head of George.
okay someone with the books help me out here... forget weapon swapping cheese...Wargamer Two Weapon fighting and Nick
Please tell me that they did not make weapon swapping this stupid in 5.5!!!
Yep, assuming it’s like the playtest, you can draw or stow one weapon when you make an attack as part of the Attack action. The extra attacks you get from the Light property and the dual wielder feat are not part of the Attack action. So, if you don’t have Extra Attack, you won’t have enough swaps available in a turn to pull this off. If you do have Extra Attack, you could do the following:Also a mistake the article makes is that you have to start out holding two light weapons so you can not start out welding a shield and scimitar. Second shields are not part of the ability to draw or stow a weapon when you make an attack using your attack action. Lastly I believe the ability to draw or stow a weapon only counts for attacks made using the attack action so not for spell that use weapon strikes, reaction, or bonus action attack.
Monks don’t get weapon mastery, so are we talking Monk 4/[martial class] 1, or Monk 5/[martial class] 1?okay someone with the books help me out here... forget weapon swapping cheese...
say my monk at level 5 has gotten a weapon mastery... he has 2 scimitars and attacks, how many attacks can he make?
I may be wrong, but i was told I could pick up mastery with a feat, not sure if it's an origin feat or a 4th level one.Monks don’t get weapon mastery, so are we talking Monk 4/[martial class] 1, or Monk 5/[martial class] 1?
You'd get 3. Two from your attack action with extra attack, one with your offhand weapon from Light and Nick.I may be wrong, but i was told I could pick up mastery with a feat, not sure if it's an origin feat or a 4th level one.
for now just assume I have monk levels, and extra attack feature and a nick useable weapon...
