Wands?

Are wands considered to have a psecfic magical tone such as Arcane or Divine (like scrolls) or are they neutral? I cannot find anything specfic in the core books abouit it.

Example, with a Wand of Summon Monsters 2... can both a cleric and a mage use the same wand?

Detect Magic doesn't tell you whether something is arcane or divine. It tells you the school of magic and the strength of the aura. If it were a wand of Summon Monster II, for example, it would tell you "faint conjuration".

But does it detect as divine or arcane magic?

Yup, what Doc Awk said. There's no way to tell if a spell is divine or arcane outside of the effects of said spell being on one list and not the other, assuming you can identify them.

Alright, how about this one:

A Rogue picks up the Wand of Summon Monsters 2 and tries to use it, via Use Magic device.

Does he need to emulate a high intelligence, or high wisdom? What if a Sorcerer made the wand, does he need to emulate a high charisma?

Why should this matter? Unless I'm mistaken, wands have a set DC and the stat [or other extraneous abilities] of the wielder doesn't matter. All the Rogue should need to do is to emulate the class itself to be able to use the wand.
