So, saurials have feathers now.
I mean, I'm not even asking for that (although I wouldn't say no to the ceratopsian ones with some quills, 'wooly' pachyrhinosaurus is a paleoart meme for a reason)

Modern hadrosaur depictions are of colourful well-adapted creatures with that distinctive hadrosaur not-beak they all had, very showy critters.

annnd then there's Dragonbait who's just a lumpy mess and is just, green. Barely any attention paid to his crest even (I think he's supposed to be Saurolophus based? Sure as heck isn't anywhere near long enough for a Parasaurolophus). Seriously, Saurolophus was a 10 meter long giant that'd have a go at Tarbosaurus

Even just 'people's common knowledge of paleotology' wise, he's outdated and just looks old. From the bygone era before Jurassic Park

31 playable creature types is IMO about 25 too many. Most of those 25 were once seen as monsters, and worked better that way.
Here is where I think the importance of a DM comes it at session 0 and in determining the setting. DMs need to remember, just because something is published by WotC, does not mean it is valid to use in their campaign. It is simple a tool or example for consideration and to ease incorporation.
