D&D 5E What happened to the errata/corrige?

Isn't this (178) the correct value, given that the Horned Devil has a CON mod of +5? Isn't the typo the "+55", which should be "+85" (17*5)?

I didn't make the list. I guess we need an errata for the bloggers errata.

I wouldn't worry about it.

That guy has issues - 99% of his so-called "errata" findings are utterly inconsequential.

Considering I can't use t-shirts and beholder plushies at my table, yeah, I do. Merchandise should augment, not replace, the game.

But that's exactly where they want to go.

Much more money in plushies than rpgs.

See? What'd I tell ya? If you bring it up, it gets moved to the top of the pile.

Except of course for the 5E SRD. That'll take a while longer. Just long enough for the game to have enough stuff out there of their own design and from the stronger 3PPs before they open the floodgates for every would-be designer trying to make a quick .99 cents per PDF on drivethruprg.

Yup. Actually I think the srd and OGL are tied with sales of the core. It hasn't dropped enough yet. But it won't be the OGL perse.

The main reason they said a SRD will be coming is that they did not want a "we're betrayed" discussion to foul their launch year.

They never intended to provide something that allowed meaningful competition.

We are probably getting something, if only to not make them have to break their promise. They could essentially provide an otherwise blank paper that says "Frack you: the SRD" and keep their word.

I would not expect much more than that if I were you, to be honest.
