What old modules would you like to see converted/reimagined??

While it's very early, it looks like responses to Steading the Hill Giant Chief is pretty good, as is the response to Baba Yaga's Dancing Hut.

Which brings up a good topic. Even though WotC's attempts to re-do old classics (Tomb of Horrors, Revenge of the Giants) met with lukewarm at best, I'm sure that there are adventures out there that folks would enjoy seeing redone or reinterpreted to be new yet harkening back.

So what 3e and older modules would you like to see brought to 4e?

Actually I rather liked Revenge of the Giants, after I started to MM3 update it and found the couple of gotchas.

I think that the old 1e series "Against the Slave Lords" would make for a very good high Heroic, through into Paragon mega-module.

G-D-Q would also make a good story arc, into low Epic.

From what I understand, there's a sequence in that module where PCs are unarmed (and therefore defenseless). 4e PCs are never defenseless. You can use your powers with your fists (and nothing stops a spellcaster).

Captured and stripped of their equipment. That would take a little "re-imagining", to make it work, but it could be done with skill challenges, down powered encounters to take into account their reduced combat effectiveness, and (GASP!) role play.

I'd like to see adventures that are interesting and not dungeon crawls:

Dead Gods
Great Modron March
Road to Urik
Speaker in Dreams

Something like Road to Urik is fairly hard for a DM to write. WotC should be putting out adventures about things we want to do but can't all design ourselves (like army combat).

The whole Desert of Desolation shebang would be good. The Perkins mentions I3 Pharaoh which is excellent stuff but I would like to see the whole story arc get the works. Slavelords too, as mentioned above. They have already done Tamoachan, which is the other big nostalgia hit for me.

I actually think the original levels of 4-7 for the slavelord adventures would probably work best as the main opponents are orcs, hobgoblins, ogres, slavers etc. I don't like seeing those guys pushed too artificially high. Love to see a good conversion

We played through the dungeon 3e converted Maure Castle a few years back so although would like to see a 4e version I guess its been done too recently.

Maybe Tsojcanth and the forgotten temple would make a nice high heroic to low paragon filler

Isle of the Ape at epic would be fun if not a bit silly
