I really don't see the need for more races, but I suppose they're inevitable. The only ones I'd want to see are the setting specific ones, like half-giant, mul, and thri-kree for Darksun. I could see a few more options from the MM becoming available, similar to VGtM, but beyond humanoids. I really don't want to see races added that have no existing lore (I want them as monsters first).

Class-wise, I wouldn't mind seeing something like the swordmage as a 1/2 caster, as well as a workable psionics class or series of sub-classes. The possibilities for sub-classes are all but limitless, and I expect this to be a primary focus for mechanical expansion over the course of 5E.

I'm not. I suppose I should really expand a bit. With the way 5e is structured with feats and backgrounds, I can already pretty much cover any archetype I've wanted. I don't want to see class/subclass bloat. I think it dilutes things too much. Especially if it's the official WoTC team doing it. I wouldn't want them to spend the time and energy to keep churning out subclasses that only a tiny number of people would actually play. I'd much rather see more short adventure modules, or more feats. Speaking of, I would be totally for additional feat packages, because that's all I really think you need. Of course this is just by opinion. As far as I can see, there is really only one missing class: a psionic one. That's about it. Everything else could be a racial or general feat package, IMO.

What about what other people want or are you the only other person in the world.

I find the bloat obsession to be counter productive.

They don't remove features so the closest I think you'll get to a robed priest is that Favoured Soul.
