Wheel of Time Discussion - Spoilers(with book spoilers)

It does feel kind of video-gameist to me. Aside from the Fedex sidequests, we have convenient teleportation points connecting key locations so we don't need to bother with travel. Was this in the books?
I had less issue with magic warps tunnels than I did with a single mage carrying three others tied up across a not insignificant amount of space by herself. 🤷‍♂️

I'm almost finished with the first book (5 chapters left) and wow it was a chore to read trough the Mat and Rand parts between white bridge and caemlyn. I was basically reading the same chapter again and again. Glad that part was summarized for the series.

I'm curious to read about the eye of the world and the second book to see the differences in the ending and second season.

In the book she convinces them they’re going to help Rand. They haven’t heard of the Black Ajah at that point and as far as they know Aes Sedai can’t lie.

But in the end she could just use the one power and if they’re shielded there’s nothing they can do.

The book sounds way better. Even if shielded, she still has to get them there bounded and by herself.
