Where's the CR30-39 monsters???

First Post
I'm DMing an evil campaign that's nearing lvl 30 now, and something is starting to bug me: Where's the monsters with CR in the 30s?

There's plenty of monsters with CR 20-29, and I've seen them with CR in the 40s, 50s and 60s, but I don't think I've seen a sinlge beastie with CR in the 30s.

Does anybody know of something that can be used out of the book, without having to add extra hit die, templates or class levels? Sure, those things are all perfectly good solutions and often make for more interesting monsters, but it's such an awefull lot of work having to do it ALL THE TIME! :o

Epic Level Handbook
Monsters of Norrath
Monsters of Luclin

Also, as it's an evil campaign, Book of Exalted Deeds has the Celestial Paragons you can potentially make use.

"Finally figured out why theres all these stat blocks in a book on gods nobody would ever actually fight..."

I'm only sorta kidding...

I see some 28s in my MM2, and I know theres some mid 30s in my Call of Cthulhu d20 book, not sure how much else there really is in that range...

As others have mentioned, the Epic Level Handbook is your best bet.

There are other sources with CR 30+ monsters, such as the Tome of Horrors, Book of Vile Darkness, and Book of Exalted deeds, but those tomes all have unique creatures that are CR 30+, such as demon lords and arch devils.

Like I mentioned above, Call of Cthulhu "might" be a suitable source of enemies.

Assuming you don't already have them:

And allow me to pimp another users creations:

BLACKDIRGE has made some rather great contributions. You may as well check them out, though many have NPC levels already added in.

Here are some specific ones (not quite CR 30+, but two or three of them would be...

CR 26 - http://www.enworld.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1188183&postcount=35
CR 29 - http://www.enworld.org/forums/showpost.php?p=859913&postcount=10
CR 28 - http://www.enworld.org/forums/showpost.php?p=828212&postcount=9

Yeah, of course, there are unique creatures, like the fiendish and celestial lords, and they will definitely see use IMC. But other than unique beings? Nope...

The Epic Level Handbook have a few monsters with CR 30-39, but none that fit my campaign at this time :( . The "Epic Enhancements" posted by WotC doesn't have any.

Does Tome of Horrors have anything in that area? I've been hearing good stuff about that book...
