Which two weapon feat should I take?

Hi all,
I'm making a swashbuckler and I'm going for lots of attacks and improved critical to take advantage of their Weakening and Wounding Critical abilties. I can either take Imp. TWF (and maybe also Gr. TWF) or I could take Exotic Weapon: Braid Blade and Improved Crit. for it (18-20 crit, as a full round attack you can make a bonus attack at -2). So which would be best, three attacks at -2/-2/-7 (Imp. TWF), four attacks at -2/-2/-7/-12 (Gr. TWF) or three attacks at -2/-2/-2 (Braid Blade)? (Or, of course, scrap some of the extra attacks for Two Weapon Defense or something.) Thanks!!

You seem to be thinking with a particular level in mind. Are you creating this character at a level other than first?

The character will most likely start at level 1, I was just toying around with a selection of feats through 20th level.

I was just now thinking that perhaps Gr. TWF should be cut from the list because it's extra attack with the -12 probably will never crit. And that's where the swashbuckler really excels. True?

As I recall, Swashbucklers have a +1 per level BAB. The attacks you would get with two weapon fighting would therefore be as follows. This includes only BAB and TWF penalties.

Code:
On Hand Off Hand
+20-2 +20-2 (Two Weapon Fighting)
+15-2 +15-2 (Improved Two Weapon Fighting)
+10-2 +10-2 (Greater Two Weapon Fighting
+5-2

The third off hand attack seems worthwhile to me. Consider that you should also have bonues from attributes (including an attribute enhancing item) magic weapons and probably some friendly spells to add to your total as well.

If you aren't afraid of being mistaken for e certain dark elf, I think their is a feat out there that will let you dual wield two scimitars as if the off hand one was light, and they have a nice crit range.

I haven't spent much time looking at a swashbuckler, but based on what you're describing this might work well.

Ah, gotcha. That makes more sense and looks better when it's laid out like that. I suppose if I wanted I could take the Braid Dagger without the proficiency and take a -6 to that attack. Although that seems too cheesy.

I was thinking of taking the Oversized TWF that you mentioned, although I'd probably take rapiers so I can take full advantage of the swashbuckler's weapon finesse feat.

Thanks for the help!
