the Jester

Legend
Without actually seeing the final product, I can't say for sure- but I am not happy with the amount of power creep (e.g. cantrips doing more damage, more dice for healing spells), the disconnection of mechanics from the story of the game (e.g. conjure spells, the new stunned condition), and some of the apparent changes to monsters (no more resistance to nonmagical b/p/s, extra reactions in place of legendary actions, etc).

Overall, I am likely to integrate some of the 2024 stuff into my game and likely to swing my banhammer liberally at a bunch of it.

Only reason I'm running a DnD game is because the playtest gave a reason to set one up. So might as well get the rest of the changes in.

If someone else was going to run a DnD game, sure, I'd join as a player, and become a golf bag of weapons. If that's what you gotta do as a martial for options, then that's what you gotta do.

Yes and no! Will do a clean test of 2024 but will also take a D&D break at some point.

I am guessing now. (So really yes, no, maybe)
