"Worst" non-core party?

well the tread calls for the worst party... not a party of "on purpose messed up chars"

If you want to mess them up, then just go 4x wizard with 8 int and 8 Con...(or less, elves maybe?))

as for worst party, my votes in general goes to an "all melee" party...

edit1: wiz not non-core, just find some d4 guy and do the same

edit2: Sorry bad use of word, fixed it

easy.

4 commoners.

However it should be noted that I once built the most poor character ever. He had a 100% xp penalty due to multiclassing and no useful class features.

IIRC it was an elf commoner 3, expert 1, aristocrat 1, warrior 1, wizard 1, sorcerer 1 with an int and charisma of 9 or less. He could adventure for hundreds of years, and still never actually gain another level. He would never have spells, nor a BAB greater than 1.

max XP penalty is 80%. You'd still be gaining 20% XP.

Even with the profanity filter, please don't use profanity here - especially when it's easy enough to make your point without it. Thanks! Feel free to email me if you want to discuss this further.

BAB +2 (+1 commoner, +1 warrior) -20% expert, -20 aristocrat, -20 warrior, -20 sorcerer =-80% exp

wizard is favored class, and commoner is your base class neither restrict xp.
now add levels of Psion and wilder .....

hmm
commoner with healing skill = healer
commoner with high int and rogue skills (cross class)= skill user
commoner with great sword and armor prof = fighting man
commoner with alchemical items = spell user

I have a stand alone game with dwarven NPC classes that is not very far from this. :)

Worst non-core... I'll go with Beguiler for Arcane, Marshal for the skill monkey, Spirit Shaman for Divine, and Swashbuckler for Warrior goodness.
