Tay-dor, there's no need for you to buy another game system. Seriously. You posted that you have CoC 5th edition. That has the same insanity mechanic, I think. And anyway, that's something I keep track of anyway.
Just read the online excerpts at the WotC page. There is absolutely no reason for any of you to go out and buy this book if you haven't already. You know how d20 skills work. And there are only two classes and no prestige classes. No reason to make a purchase at all.
CoC it is. I've got a majority already.
All I need are backgrounds and stats. And to decide where to post the game. I don't know if I want to have it here, since I don't want to detract from the other CoC game.
For Stats, I'll use the
dice@pbm.com
send an email, without a subject to that address. This should be the text of the email.

You'll get a copy and then work up your backgrounds. If you haven't got the book, just give me a profession, and I'll work up a skill list for you if it isn't in the book. Hobbies, interests, history, and all the good stuff that flesh out a character and give him/her reasons to have skills.
If you read the WotC stuff, you'll have a pretty good idea of what the new skills are. I swear, you can find pretty much everything you need in the PHB, otherwise.
Background notes: The time period is 2000. And everyone should include the following: Whatever job he had, your father travelled often, gone for weeks at a time. He died in 1995, away on a business trip. Even though you never lived about your means(whatever those are), there was a trust fund set up for you and your mother(or not, if she is dead) after his death. [for those with the book, this is the equivalent of a free Wealthy feat]
Anyone have suggestions for a home for the game online?

And I think going back to the Inn is entirely reasonable. However, Sirsei is hand-cuffed to Lila, so I really can't just leave unless we agree that Lila is going to accompany us to the Inn and let me out of her sight.
