No it hasn't, really hard question- maybe needs it's own threadHas this thread yet mentioned the related question: who is the best live action Lois Lane?
Nope, it’s Kidder. No it hasn't, really hard question- maybe needs it's own thread
The other thing that hasn't been mentioned about Reeve's performance is the effortless way he transitions from flying to walking and vice versa. It's so utterly natural in body language that he sells it every time, regardless of the more primitive effects. It's Reeve. Right here. I feel bad. This scene is such a high bar.
I dunno. Teri Hatcher, who can be exhausting in nearly everything else (well, other than Seinfeld), was pretty great as well.Nope, it’s Kidder.
Boy, he really resembles Cavill there when he takes his glasses off and fantasizes about telling Lois for a second. It's Reeve. Right here. I feel bad. This scene is such a high bar.
I agree she got the sassy, hard-nosed, pulitzer prize winning reporter downpat, even inside the rom-com style show. Margot Kidder did too, but her clumsy, goofy side was a bit distracting.I dunno. Kidder is good, but in the way she's portrayed she really takes peril-friendliness to an extreme. It feels like she wouldn't last three days in a world where Superman didn't exist.I agree she got the sassy, hard-nosed, pulitzer prize winning reporter downpat, even inside the rom-com style show. Also a nod to Phyllis Coates from the early b&w serials
This whole movie... what could've been. I always love going back and listening to Kevin Smith tell this story on An Evening with Kevin Smith.
