I think there's something to be said for having a little more time. It always seems a tad unfair when the folks who know they can commit early can jump on things, and folks who have to plan ahead or clear schedules or the like see games they wanted to play fill up.
Yup, and I'm usually one of the "early" people. With delayed sign-ups there is a greater chance I'll be able to game with people I haven't before which is always a plus. :)

Piratecat... my game is going to be:

Space:1889 : The Expedition to the South Pole (Savage Worlds)

Voyages to the South Pole are extremely rare. The gnawing cold, frigid ice and bleak landscape provide little insentive to explore the harsh region thoroughly. For some reason though the Explorer's Society sent the famed Astor-Hillingford research team to explore the area. Only problem is... that was a year ago and the research team has yet to return. You have been tasked to find the research team and return them home.

Who knows what lurks on that icy tundra? Only it knows for sure!

Glorious.

My Fiasco game is going to be the Harry Potterish "Toil and Trouble." From the playset:

"Take a bunch of pubescent kids in a confined space out in the middle
of nowhere, full of adolescent fury and desires. Now give them unfettered
magical powers, the ability to open locks, summon water and
fire, create love potions and sleeping draughts.

You are someone of magical power, brought here to the school to learn
to harness said power. But where hormones, malleable minds and
magic meet... Well, let’s just say that’s a fiasco in the making."

Hey Piratecat, if there's space in your Old School Hack game, I'd like to snag a spot. Otherwise, it all boils down to what the morning and afternoon schedules look like.

I'll be running a classic space opera using Alternity:

The Death Planet (Alternity: Star*Drive)
--- A simple run to a remote mining colony turns complicated when the crew of the tramp freighter, Ethel's Misery stumbles on to the planet's deadly secret. Spaceship battles, alien encounters, evil galactic corporations, and a chance to play the Alternity system! What more can you ask for?

Stick a note in your calendar! We're opening up game sign-up on Fri, March 18th, at 7pm EST. It'll be in this thread or bookmarked in this thread.

In typical fickle-fashion, I am changing my mind on what I'm running. I'll cross-post from CM...

Okay, I was just struck by a bolt of stupid inspiration and I'm running with it. So, I'm changing the game that I'm running. This will be a M&M 3e game.

Here is the mini-blurb:
