D&D 5E [UA Favored Soul]Are there any obvious cleric spells that combine well with metamagic?

Twin bestow curse? 5e doesn't work that well with the solo big bad, so if you can curse the BBEG and his bodyguard at the same time, it would be a win. I have to look to see if this can actually work.

Not metamagic related, but there aren't a lot of conjuring monster options for sorcerers, so this is a nice way to fill that desire.

Heightened Geas, Harm, Divine Word
Distant Contagion
A pre-planned cause an ally to "die" with distant Feign Death could get you out of sticky situations
Helping an area recover from the battle you just destroyed their town with... Twinned create food and water
Would twinned silence work? Debatable
Distant Stone Shape on a stone bridge could be useful to create holes beneath the feet of the attacking horde

I made a Favored Soul last night to replace a retiring character. Thankfully, this UA was perfectly timed.

Here is the spell list I, would go with, it assumes you take magic iniate feat for sorceror.

9the: Wish
8th: Dominate Monster
7th: Conjure Celestial
6th: Heal
5th: Raise Dead, Animate Objects, Mass Cure Wounds
3rd: Haste, Fireball, Major Image
2nd: Phantasmal Force, Spiritual Weapon
1st: Holy Word, Bless, Mage Armour

Cantrips: Sacred Flame, Minor Illusions, Guidance, Thumegury, Spare the Dying, Firebolt, Prestidugation, Mage Hand.

Metamagic Quicken Spell, Twin Spell for the first 2 metamagics. Later Careful Spell and Empowered Spell.

So that is 8 Cleric spells to 8 Sorceror Spells and 4 Cleric Cantrips to 4 Sorceror Cantrips. You have illusion magic, buff spells, damage dealing spells, conjuring spells, healing spell, and a Dominate Monster and Wish for a very flexible set of spell.

Twinned Conjure Celestial is awesome.

Twin spell only works with spells that can only target a single creature. I'm not so sure that applies to summons. Twin works with buffs, debuffs, heal, damage, curses and dominating creatures. You cannot twin an environmental effect like silence, light, daylight or the like. And of course stuff like create food and water is also outside the effect.

One cool thing is a level 3 Favoured Soul can cast twinned Healing Word as a bonus action, then twinned Sacred Flame cantrip as your action. Or burn a 2nd level s slot for 2 spell points, then cast twinned Healing Word 4 times, that is 8 healing words and 1 2nd level Healing Word.

Even a Level 3 cleric can't do that.

As long as your summoning only 1 creature I don't see why not.

+1. I think this is why the sorcerer's spell list doesn't get any summon monster spells, so it is a nice combo. It isn't game breaking, since compared to other conjure spells, conjure celestial isn't great for combat (a CR 4 critter for a level 7 spell), and you probably have to pay for each critter you get from planar ally (and the DM has a lot of discretion on what to provide with that spell), but with a lot of DM bribing (to get good stuff via planar ally) and time to cast the spells, the favored soul sorcerer can certainly fill up the battlefield.

The real question is can you get twin spell to work on Create Unread and Animate Objects, they turn inert matter into creatures.

To confuse things Create Undead can be cast on Undead already created by Create Undead in order to maintain your control of those undead, in which case if you only are casting it on one creature, twin spell should work.
