5e classes fall into three broad categories: classes that are perfectly fine and only need a light touch (wizard, paladin, cleric), classes that have a few problems, but they can be fixed with minimal effort (the bulk of the classes) and those who have systemic problems that needed extensive work done (druid, warlock, sorcerer, monk, ranger).
either I am missing something, or you put the bulk of classes in 'need extensive work', not in 'fixed with minimal effort'

Not really, based on the history of UA testing: dunno if we will even see many more tested.
Spells need help.

The slot levels are a vital aspect of the game engine balance, especially for high tiers. The spells need to match their slot location accurately.

Spells that are subpar compared to other spells in the same slot, need a demotion to a lower slot or a rewrite.

Generally, the spells in slots 6 thru 8 seem meh and disappointing.

A few spells are concerning, such as Force Cage.

It will take more than one iteration to get spells accurately worthy of their slot.

for compatibility reasons we at most see rebalancing, they won't change in spell level

might be the intended progression in power, not sure what else would explain that it is all of them... in any case, I do not really think that casters need buffing

New spells can be added to the 2024 Players Handbook, even new versions of traditional spells.

Each spell is like a magic item. The DM can decide which spells are appropriate.

The playtest has already updated certain spells, such as Jump.

These tests aren't for balancing, they are for satisfaction with conceptual shifts. We have seen a number of Spells, we may see a few more, but they don't need to run balance bits and bobs.
